Can I Install the Furrion Chill in My 22 Alpine 3790FK and Control it From My Control Center?

Updated 08/12/2025 | Published 08/04/2025

Question:

We are thinking about adding a third AC to our 22 Alpine 3790FK. Is the chill cube compatible with our in command control center? We run our other two air conditioners through that. I really like the features of the chill cube, but want to maintain compatibility with our other two units as far as control goes.

Hello Dan,

The Command Centers are still pretty new and so is the Furrion chill 18K, so I had to reach out to our friends at Lippert about this one (owner of Furrion, owner of most of the RV world. Fun little game of Monopoly).

They informed me that you will NOT be able to link the Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box Ducted # FR99TD or Ductless # FR59TD to your Command Center. The Furrion chill would still be a great option for adding a 3rd AC because it can be controlled with the remote, so you will not need to install another thermostat. You will not be disappointed with how quiet this air conditioner is!

What room in your camper were you thinking about adding the 3rd AC?

Thanks for the quick response! The third AC would go in our living room, more or less center of the camper. We like the features of the chill cube, definitely thinking it would be more conducive to off-grid. Is there a Bluetooth or WiFi option available?

@DanD My pleasure Dan. No, it does not have any of the high-tech features like Bluetooth or WiFi, just the remote. Yes, the Furrion Chill is much more efficient compared to other RV air conditioners. Definitely something to consider.
