Can Furrion Cube Chill Replace Bedroom AC of 2025 Alliance Delta 262RB

Question:

My trailer currently has a ducted Furrion 18K Chill Cube in the living area, and a Furrion 8K FACR15HEPA in the bedroom. I believe the 18K is quieter. Is it possible to replace the 8K with a ductless 18K Chill Cube? 2025 Alliance Delta 262RB, 50amp

Hey Mark, yes it definitely is possible to replace the 8k Furrion RV AC Unit you have with an 18k Chill Cube designed for ductless applications part # FR59TD and you'd be set with a much quieter and colder blowing unit in the bed room. Aside from being quieter how do you like the Cube?

Thanks for the reply. It is easy to use and does a great job at cooling the trailer quickly. Do you see any issue with the amps that 2 18K units would pull? Is this a question for Alliance?

@MarkG The 18k Furrion Chill Cube actually doesn't draw that much amperage to operate as odd as that sounds because it has an advanced soft start mechanism that prevents that. A 50 amp setup would have no problem at all with two Chill Cubes.

@JamesonC Do you know if there is any difference in the decibel ratings for the 18k Chill Cube ducted and ductless?
