Looking for RV AC Unit to Replace Coleman Mach

Updated 07/02/2025 | Published 06/22/2025

Question:

I have a diesel pusher with 2 Coleman Mach Model 48203-666 air conditioners controled by an RVComfort.zc thermostat. I want to replace the A/C units with newer inverter type units. What units would be easiest plug and play install to replace the colemans? Thanks, Rick

Hey Rick, so we don't have any upper AC units that will plug right into the lower units you have now as we have found that mixing and matching brands just doesn't work consistently enough. Only solution we have would be all new units to replace what you have but are you wanting to keep your current thermostat setup? If so, we can't really guarantee what we have would work with it as it's a similar situation. Is your setup ducted or does the vent blow straight down from the vent assembly?

For a ductless the Furrion Chill Cube part # FR59TD would work great.

Hey Jameson, thanks for the reply. I'm not sure about "upper" and "lower", I want to replace the entire rooftop AC. It is a ducted unit and the thermostat is RVComfort.zc that controls both units and the propane furnance. I want to replace these with Inverter units and I don't think the Chill Cube in the link is an inverter AC. Rick

@RickW The Furrion Chill Cube is the same style of AC as the inverter type that allows for infinite adjustability of cooling output. It's only style we offer at this time that has that but it will not communicate with the RVComfort as far as we know.
