Question:

Can the FACT11MA-PS air distribution box replace the FACT11CA-PS air distribution box and be used on Furrion model FACR13SA-PS/FACR13SA-BL non ducted Is there much restriction with air flow due to the small vents ? What is the return policy ?

Hello Russ,

I'm sorry, but you cannot use the Replacement Air Distribution Box for Furrion Chill RV Air Conditioners - Built-in Thermostat - White # FACT11MA-PS with the FACR13SA-PS / FACR13SA-BL units, as it is only compatible with the Furrion Chill system.

As of this year, RV refrigerants have transitioned from R410a to R32. R410a parts are becoming increasingly difficult to find, and once they're sold out, they won’t be restocked. Additionally, the older R410a components are not compatible with the new R32 parts. Because of this, I recommend switching to an entirely new system to ensure everything is R32-compatible.

If you'd like to upgrade to the new 18,000 BTU Furrion Chill, I highly recommend it, you won’t be disappointed. It cools much faster and runs incredibly quietly. For a ductless setup, you'll want the Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner with Air Distribution Box - Ductless - 18,000 Btu - White # FR59TD. This system includes a remote that controls all functions. A compatible wall thermostat is expected in the future, we're just waiting on its release.

If you prefer to stick with a 13,500 BTU system, I suggest the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone - 13,500 Btu - White - R32 # FR35TD.

What kind of camper is this going into?
