Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom harness. T-connector plugs directly into existing wiring - no cutting, splicing or tapping required.

Features:

  • Provides a 4-way flat trailer connector at the back of your vehicle to power your trailer's signal lights
    • Compatible with 5-pole, 6-pole and 7-pole adapters (sold separately)
  • Connects quickly and easily - no cutting or splicing of wires
    • Locate connection points behind rear bumper
    • Plug in T-connector
  • Comes with dust cap for 4-way flat connector
  • Limited 1-year warranty

Installation

This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the rear bumper.

Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.

It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

2000 Ford F-150

I ordered in-line trailer electrical kit for my 2000 F150. After attempting to get the spliced lights to work for the umpteenth time, this kit worked awesome the 1st time. Unplugged the factory plugs, plugged this in and away I went. PLUS the kit had a really long lead which is always nice. Much better than anything I could find local ...and those didn't fit.

It rocks. You wouldnt believe the trouble I had in trying to get the generic ones to work in the past and they never did. I have never been so excited about a trailer wire..haha

Ford F-150

The product did everything it was supposed to do and was very easy to install on my F150. My existing factory installed harness left turn signal stopped working on my trailer; the problem was isolated to be the truck harness so I ordered this product. The only issue I have is minor; I wish the connector would fit in the factory installed bracket instead of swinging loose.

It was a direct fit and everything works according. I plan to continue shopping with this company

Curt 56031 for a 2000 Ford F-150. Old factory connector was corroded and beyond repair.
Ordered late Monday night with 2 day shipping. Received midday Thursday . Took less than 5 minutes including cleaning my old plug off. Plugged in and zipped tied in place. Plugged trailer connector and had lights. Best money spent even with two day shipping cost. Left for the Outer Banks with boat on Friday. Hint- Used photo of my connector ends and matched to the Curt 4 way plug in photo.

by:
2004 Ford F-150

Wow! Could not have been easier to connect my trailer harness to my Ford F150. Pull the original connector apart & snap in this "T" plug. Great item. Thanks for the [online video] for letting me know that this item was available.

by:
Ford F-150

Plugged it in and in 5 minutes had trailer lights. Could not find the correct harness at any auto parts stores. Will definitely be back for any needs in the future. Ford F150 2/96 with 3rd door.

by:
2003 Ford F-150

It worked. I thought I was getting a harness that plugs into the main harness that y's off from the plug in the frame. Lucky for me the tail light side of the old harness still worked because all this does is plug into that. I could of done what this plug does for free and a little bit of solder.

  • Recommended Towing Package For A 2004 Ford F-150 Heritage Series
When it comes to installing a towing package on your 2004 Ford F-150 Heritage Series there is a few things you will need. First the trailer hitch. If you have a standard bed model Ford or the step side model Ford The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2 inch # 75740 is confirmed for your vehicle. This trailer hitch has an easy, bolt-on installation with no welding required. It has a black powder coat finish that covers an e-coat base for superior rust...

The Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 37130 is a Class IV trailer hitch with a 2" receiver opening that is confirmed to fit your 2001 Ford F-150 and will allow you to keep your full spare in it's current location. • Recommended Trailer Wiring for 2006 Ford F-150
If you are using the Ford Replacement OEM Tow Package Wiring Harness, 7-Way # 118242 on your 2006 Ford F-150, that is most likely the issue. That harness only is compatible with models up to 2004. For your 2006 F-150, you will either use the 4 way # C56031 to give you a 4-way trailer connection or # 74682 if you are replacing a 7-way connector. If you wish to upgrade from a 4-way to a 7-way, then you will want the Adapter 4-Pole to 7-Pole and 4-Pole # 37185 and after connecting the...

  • Installing 7-Way Trailer Wiring Connector to 2005 Ford F-150 Super Crew
The Tow Package Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector # 118247 may be a fit for your 2005 Ford F-150 as sometimes the wiring changed part way through the model year change. That harness is a fit for 2004 models and retains the 4-way flat already present. It sounds like you don't have the 4-way and most likely have a connection like the one pictured for 2005 models. In this case you won't have a direct option to add a 7-way but one can still be installed with a couple...
