We can offer you several options in a 2-inch Class III hitch that will fit your 2005 Ford F-150 STX/XLT that has the factory vibration dampener. Curt offers hitches # C13352 which costs less but requires some drilling, and # 13357 which costs a bit more but does not require drilling for installation. Both are confirmed fits for your truck and both work with the factory dampener. I do suggest the no-drill option # 13357. The written instructions and a helpful article are linked to assist you with your installation.
If you also need a 4-pole wiring harness you can use part # C56031 which plugs in to the connector behind the rear bumper.
