Question:
Can the HM50002 be plugged into the HM48480 Hopkins Endurance 7-Way Trailer Connector Socket? If not, is hardwiring the only option? 1997 Ford F-150 Thanks

The Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera and Hitch Aligner System # HM50002 will not plug into the Hopkins Endurance 7-Way Trailer Connector Socket # HM48480 but it will plug into the Endurance Quick-Install 7-Way Trailer Connector with Universal Pigtail Harness # HM47210 or the Endurance Multi-Tow 4-Way Flat to 7-Way RV Trailer Adapter w/ 4-Way Vehicle End Plug # HM47180.
If you don't have any wiring yet, my recommendation is to use the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56031 and then add the Hopkins Endurance Multi-Tow 4-Way Flat to 7-Way RV Trailer Adapter w/ 4-Way Vehicle End Plug # HM47180. Then you can use # 5506 to complete your trailer wiring if you want the full 7-way function.
