Bulldog Winch Car Tie Down Straps

  • 6 - 10 Feet Long
  • Snap Hooks
  • 10001 and Greater lbs
  • Bulldog Winch

These ratcheting tie-down straps with integrated loops let you secure your vehicle by the axles to your trailer. Twisted snap hooks prevent accidental detachment from D-rings on trailer and straps. 10,000 lbs Max load.

Features:

  • Ratcheting tie-down strap set lets you secure your vehicle on your trailer
    • Integrated loops let you secure your vehicle by the axles
  • Heavy-duty ratchets with ergonomic contour handles cinch straps tight
  • Twisted snap hooks connect to trailer's D-rings on one end and to D-rings on trailer or axle straps on other end
    • Prevent accidental detachment from D-rings
  • Gold-zinc-plated steel ratchets resist corrosion
  • No-stretch polyester straps with gel coat resist tears and abrasions
  • Heavy-duty storage bag lets you easily store and transport tie-down set

Specs:

  • Maximum load (break strength): 10,000 lbs
  • Safe working load limit (WLL): 3,335 lbs
  • Strap dimensions: 2" wide x 10' long

Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

  • Does Vehicle have to Be Secured with Chains to Trailer or Can Straps Work
Hey Leonard, yes you can definitely use straps to secure your Wrangler to your trailer as long as they have the proper weight rating for the weight of the cargo it doesn't matter if you use straps or chains. We have tie down straps specifically designed for securing vehicles like the Bulldog Winch Combo Axle/Ratcheting Vehicle Tie-Down Straps # BDW20230 which is rated for vehicles that weigh up to 10,000 lbs. Or we also have wheel strap setups like the part # BDW20362 if you want to...

  • Stake Pocket Anchors Compatible with Bulldog Winch Tie-Down Straps
I think we have just what you are looking for. Check out our Stake Pocket Tie-Down Anchor, # WFSPDR. This anchor mounts in the stake pockets on your trailer and gives you a d-ring tie-down point. These will work great with the Bulldog Winch Tie-Down Straps, # BDW20230 and they have a weight capacity of 4,000 lbs per anchor, which is as much capacity as you will get out of pretty much any stake pocket anchor. I attached a photo that one of our other customers submitted using these stake...

  • Solution for Wheel Net to Secure Jeep With 37 Inch Tires
I do have a solution, but we do not carry, nor am I aware of a wheel net that fits a 37" tire like the tires on your Jeep. Instead, I recommend the Bulldog Winch Combo Axle/Ratcheting Vehicle Tie-Down Straps # BDW20230. These ratcheting tie-down straps secure your vehicle by the axles, which is superior to wheel nets. Since you are attaching to the axle you don't have to worry about your tire size. This includes 4 straps along with a storage bag to keep everything in. Each strap has a...

  • Minimum Strap Length of Bulldog Winch Combo Axle/Ratchet Straps
I spoke with Bulldog and the length of the non-adjustable strap piece on the # BDW20230 is going to be 12" long; the minimum strap length when the straps are fully ratcheted is going to be around 24" from the end of one hook to the end of the ratchet strap connected hook. I've attached a picture to show what I'm referencing. If you were looking for a different measurement, please let me know and I can work to find it out for you.

  • Recommended Wheel Tie-Down Straps for Tesla Model 3 on Car Hauler
Based on my research the Tesla Model 3 has 18-20 inch diameter wheels/rims that are 8.5 inches wide and uses 235/45R18 or 235/35R20 tires. I recommend using the Bulldog Winch Ratcheting Wheel Tie-Down Strap for Extra-Wide Tire - Vertical Mount - 3,335 lbs # BDW20362 for the tires on your Tesla. Traditional wheel straps won't fit the low profile wide tires, so this style strap is the best option for the application.

  • Recommended Vehicle Tie-Down Straps for 2020 Chevy Blazer
The Bulldog Winch Combo Axle/Ratcheting Vehicle Tie-Down Straps - Qty 4 # BDW20230 are a great way to secure your 2020 Chevy Blazer to your car hauler. Axle straps are superior to tire straps and are going to be more secure overall so these are definitely the way to go. The straps use twisted snap hooks to prevent accidental detachment. They also have gold-zinc plated steel ratchets to resist corrosion. The safe working load limit of each strap is 3,335 lbs so it will be more than enough...

  • Recommended Tow Straps for Car Hauler Trailer
Since the cost of four of the Erickson Car Tie Down Kit # 08504-05 is close to that of the Bulldog 4-piece set, I would go for the Bulldog kit # BDW20230. For the couple of extra dollars you get not only 10-foot straps rather than 7-footers, but you also get the carry bag to keep everything in order.

  • Should Trailer Safety Chains be Crossed Under the Trailer Tongue
Safety chains on trailers should be crossed under the trailer tongue. The idea is that if the coupler pops off of the ball the safety chains will catch it so it doesn't drag on the ground. We have numerous safety chain parts available and I have included a link to them for you. You would not use straps such as # BDW20230 since straps are not rated for this application. The safety chains you use should have a capacity that at least meets if not exceeds the gross trailer weight.

  • Ratchet Tie-Down Straps For 3,000 lb Vehicle on Car Trailer
First, thanks for the photo of the Jeep, that's a really cool vehicle you have there. And I appreciate the fact you're looking to maximize safety, as the weight limits can definitely be confusing. We can absolutely help you out here though with straps for your 3,000 lb Jeep. What you need are straps that exceed the capacity of your cargo, which in your case is a 3,000 lb Jeep. We do have that with an option from Bulldog Winch: - Bulldog Winch Combo Axle/Ratcheting Vehicle Tie-Down Straps...

  • Does Triangle Ring Part of Bulldog Winch Combo Axle/Ratcheting Tie-Down Straps have to be Used
I will be happy to help. The reason that there is that triangle ring portion on the Bulldog ratcheting tie down straps # BDW20230 is so it can attach to a vehicle axle. But you can use just the hook portion to attach to something and not use the triangle ring part if needed and not suffer reduced capacity. I have linked a video featuring these straps for you.

  • Fit and Compatibility of Brophy D-Ring Tie Downs for Transporting '67 Ford Sports Coupe Weighing 3K
Yes, 4 of the Brophy # SS15-C Tie anchors can work to secure your 67 Ford Sports Coupe. Tie-down anchors must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the anchors being used. For example, if you are using anchors # SS15-C anchors with a WLL of 1,600lbs each to tie down a load weighing 3,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 anchors to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use anchors...

  • Tie Down Strap Recommendations for an Infinity GNW 500 Car Hauler
Since you never know what you might need to put on your car hauler I recommend going with something that has a high capacity such as the set of 4 Bulldog axle tie down straps # BDW20230. They are rated for 3,335 pounds working load and 10,000 pound break strength. It is important though to go by the working load limit for any strap. The Bulldog Combo Axle/Ratcheting Tie-Down Straps # BDW20230 are intended to secure a vehicle to a trailer by its axles, not by its wheels. I recommend using this item only in the way that was intended by the manufacturer. This item does not include wheel nets such as the Erickson Adjustable Ratcheting Wheel Net # EM58522. You can use the link provided for you to view all types of cargo control including axle straps, ratchet straps and wheel nets.

We do offer ratcheting tie down kits such as the Bulldog # BDW20230 but these do not bolt-down; they have hooks on each end of the four included no-stretch, high-strength polyester straps.
