Is it legal to tie my Jeep Wrangler on a trailer with straps or is there a requirement to use at least one chain?

Hey Leonard, yes you can definitely use straps to secure your Wrangler to your trailer as long as they have the proper weight rating for the weight of the cargo it doesn't matter if you use straps or chains.
We have tie down straps specifically designed for securing vehicles like the Bulldog Winch Combo Axle/Ratcheting Vehicle Tie-Down Straps # BDW20230 which is rated for vehicles that weigh up to 10,000 lbs.
Or we also have wheel strap setups like the part # BDW20362 if you want to secure the vehicle by the wheel.
