Rated Load Range E with a maximum load of 3,640 lbs at 95 psi (3,200 lbs in dual applications) and an M speed rating of 81 mph, it’s designed to handle long hauls with confidence. The ST235/85R16 size mounts to 16" x 6", 16" x 6-1/2", 16" x 7", and 16" x 7-1/2" rims so it fits a wide range of 16-inch wheels ready for highway use.
The cords on this radial tire sit at a 90-degree angle across the width of the tread, reducing friction inside the carcass. That means less rolling resistance, less heat buildup, and longer tread life. Double steel belts and full nylon plies keep it tough under load while the computer-generated tread pattern gives solid traction on wet or dry pavement for a smooth, stable ride at highway speeds.
Special trailer (ST) tires are built with reinforced sidewalls that resist flexing under heavy vertical loads. This construction keeps the tire planted and helps prevent heat-related failure when carrying weight. The Karrier meets Department of Transportation specifications, so you know it’s built for safe, compliant road use mile after mile.
For the first 12 months after purchase, if this tire is damaged in any way it will be replaced at no charge. It also carries a 5-year limited warranty for long-term coverage. That combination of build quality and backup means you can tow knowing your tire is protected from the start.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

I've been running these Karrie radials on my tri-axle trailer, which holds a 17,000lb boat since 2016. Overall I'm satisfied. They are a smooth pulling over the road tire. I have had one let go while towing. But overall, they have been good.
I bought a set of four of these tires & wheels over a period of time. Each one of the tires developed a bulge & have been replaced with a better quality of tire. The wheels are still in use.

I received my tires very soon after placing my order. I ordered these tires as a replacement to what came on my horse trailer. I had put two of the same tires on the trailer the year before. I liked the cost and the quality of the tire. So I decided to replace the other two tires with the same, so as to have the same tires all around on the trailer. I bought them with the mindset to keep everything alike. I am more at ease when pulling the trailer knowing that I have maintained my trailer as well as keeping good tires on it as well. Too many times have I seen people on the side of the road with a blown out tire on a trailer. No problem right? I've even seen trailers unhooked sitting on the side of the road, what would I do with three horses if it were me? Certainly not leave them on the side of the road. I prefer to prevent an emergency then to cause one. Take care of your equipment and it will take care of you. These tires and E-Trailer have allowed me to do so in an affordable manner.
