Yes. On curved roofs, pad low spots and avoid cranking screws too tight to help prevent stress and cracking. Inspect the skylight for corner warping before drilling; gaps at the corners can compromise the seal. Dry-fit first and confirm full sealant contact all around.
Some do not include hardware. Be ready to reuse your existing screws or pick up replacements. If the predrilled holes don't line up, you can drill new ones and fill unused holes when the butyl compresses. Add a couple extra screws if needed for a good fit, and avoid over-tightening.
Measure your roof cutout first and match the skylight to that opening. Common cutouts like 14" x 22" are available, but verify both cutout and overall flange size. Check your roof thickness; a 1-1/4" roof can work, though trimming the inner garnish may be needed. Dry-fit to confirm the screw holes align; you may need to adjust.
Use butyl tape under the flange and a self-leveling lap sealant on top. Two rows of 1/8 x 1" butyl tape have worked well, and expect to use multiple tubes of sealant—1 tube is often not enough, plan for 2 to 3. Lay a continuous bead and inspect for gaps to keep it watertight.
