Hello, neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Specialty Recreation Universal Replacement RV Skylight. It's a 28 by 10 inch neo angle in white. So, folks, just like I mentioned, neo angle, that's the right angle, and then it goes over at a diagonal there. That's what they call neo angle. So, that's the shape of it.
As you can see, it's bubbled up. I'm gonna move that outta the way there. So, starting off, polycarbonate, very nice, durable, UV-resistant. As you can see, I'm pressing down pretty hard. No cracks, no breakage, pops right back out.
That's what you want. It's a translucent-ish material. It diffuses light and reduces glare. Now, it is a pretty simple installation. You have included SR140 Sealant from the manufacturer.
They've pre-drilled all the holes here for you. Let me zoom in, so I'll give you a little better look here. And there's a look of the inside. Now, like I said, I wanna bring up this sealant again. This is their SR140.
They've specially designed this to work with polycarbonate. Do not ever use the self-leveling sealants that are out there on the market. You maybe have some leftover from sealin' a rooftop or a window or something. The chemical breakdown of those compounds can adversely interact with the polycarbonate and potentially fail, so make sure you're using their included sealant with the install. Now, again, you would need to get hardware separately. We sell that here in a kit, or you can get it at a local hardware store. They're one inch long screws. Now, as far as the dimensions, I wanna go over that again. So, when you're measuring, this will fit a 28 by 10 inch cutout. Now, you wanna take the right angle, so one of the long sides and the short sides and measure that, and that's gonna give you the overall size of this guy, which is 13 by 32, and then that cutout dimension is gonna fit inside of there. So, we got information here on our site that explains that measurement, and also lets you know what size cutout each one's gonna fit. We sell these in different sizes. Includes sealant for installation.Fortunately the skylight its self was not damaged. The packaging was ripped open and the skylight exposed. I would say the handlers were to rough but also more protection in the packaging would have helped.

These skylights were an exact replacement for the ones in my 2018 Lance 2285 travel trailer. Appeared to be OEM quality and thickness. They fit perfectly in the same spot. The screw holes lined up differently but I liked having the new holes.
Just arrived ill install the items hopefully this weekend and will let you know hoh it goes
