If you use a propane furnace, pick a version with a wall thermostat so it can manage heat, while remote-only versions won't. Can a white RV AC replace a ducted Dometic and still run my propane furnace?

Yes, if you choose a setup with a wall thermostat that controls both AC and furnace. Remote-only options won't use your factory wall thermostat for AC. For furnace control, supply constant 12v to the thermostat and connect the furnace control wire to the proper terminal; set the dip switch for gas furnace. Note that a remote's temperature reading may not match the wall thermostat.
