Video Transcript for Review of TowSmart Trailer Wiring - Trailer Connectors - TS82ZR

Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our TowSmart Black Plastic, 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector Trailer End. So, whether you have a damaged or broke, or maybe it fell off while you we inchesre towing and drug across the ground and messed everything up, or you just need a new one that's clean and new, this will help you replace the seven-pole connector between your vehicle and your trailer. And you can connect the tail lights, brake lights, turn signals, reverse lights. It's durable, impact and corrosion resistant.

You'll simply remove this super small silver screw, here. That'll allow this whole front to come out. And in that case, you would run your wires through the back, wire everything up, put it back in, tighten that back down, and then you have a set screw back here to tighten down the wires that'll then be coming out of here on the main cord of your trailer. And of course, you got the finger pulls here, so that makes it easier to undo and also to kinda push in place whenever it comes time to make the connection at the back of your vehicle. Well folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our look together at this TowSmart Black Plastic, 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector.

I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.

Good products and poor ordering. Ordered an A7WCB that was scheduled to ship the following week. Received email from George that TS82ZR was a replacement, in stock, and would ship immediately. I authorized the change. Got quick delivery but two TS82ZR were shipped. Don’t know yet if I paid for two. Have received emails regarding this from George, Cody, KMon, Briele, and Adam. Trailer is almost too much trouble to fool with!

  • How do I Hook Up My Pop-Up Trailer with 5 Round to My 7 Way on My Truck?
Hello Jacob, Congrats on the new pop-up camper, that’s an awesome find and definitely adventure-ready. A 5-pin round connector is not something we see very often anymore, so there is not a simple plug-in adapter available. The best solution is to replace the connector on the camper so it matches the 7-way on your 2023 GMC 2500. To do this, you would cut off the existing 5-pin round plug on the camper and wire the camper’s trailer wiring directly into the TowSmart Black Plastic, 7-Pole,...

  • How Can I Charge an Auxiliary Battery from the Factory 7-Way in My Ford Truck Bed?
Hello Ron, Thanks for writing in. If your Ford already has the factory 7-way in the truck bed, you can use the 12 volt auxiliary power circuit to help maintain an auxiliary battery while you're driving. To do that, you'll need a trailer-end connector like the TowSmart 7-Pole RV-Style Trailer Connector # TS82ZR. From there, run 10 gauge wire # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot) from the 12 volt auxiliary terminal on the connector to the positive terminal of your auxiliary battery. I also recommend...
