Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this DeeMaxx 12 inch diameter slip-on MAXX-coated rotor 6 on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern and it's for 6,000 pound axles. Now, this rotor will let you upgrade your trailer from an idler axle to a disc brake axle for your superior performance. This will provide excellent rust protection. It's great for boat trailers and trailers that are used in coastal areas or even on heavily treated roads. The MAXX coat finish on this offers superior rust and corrosion resistance.
Has a salt spray rating of over 1,000 hours. If you notice on the inside here a main feature on this rotor, if you notice these drainage holes right in here in the hat section, you can see them right in here. Also, you can see them on the outside here. These drainage holes will allow water to drain easily and preventing any corrosion. This is designed to fit over a standard idler hub and it's held in place by your existing wheel lug nuts.
This is easy to remove for easy maintenance. No need to replace your entire hub and rotor assembly if only the hub or the rotor becomes damaged. It is a normal vented design which will dissipate the heat faster and prevents premature brake pad wear, and it is high-quality automotive grade construction, makes it long lasting. A few specs on this. This is designed to fit a 6,000 pound axle.
The diameter on the rotor itself, if we put a ruler on this, all the way across right at 12 inches. The bolt pattern, which is this bolt pattern here on the front, it is a 6 on 5-1/2 inch. And basically the way you would measure that since it's an even number of lugs, the holes are directly across from each other. So you just pick a hole, let's say this one, and you measure from the center of that hole directly across to the center of the hole across from it. So on this one, if we measure, it's 5-12 inches so that means it's a six hole 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern.
The bolt hole diameter itself is right at a half an inch. But that should do it for the review on this DeeMaxx 12 inch diameter slip-on MAXX-coated rotor with the 6 on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern for 6,000 pound axles.
