Wiring a trailer doesn’t have to mean digging into factory circuits. The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector plugs straight into existing tail light connectors for a simple, no-splice setup. You get a clean installation that’s easy to reverse and doesn’t disturb your vehicle wiring.
This harness includes a powered converter box that isolates the trailer wiring from the vehicle lighting system. It keeps the draw from the trailer lights off your factory circuits to prevent overloading or shorting. If the trailer has a wiring fault, it won’t damage your vehicle’s lighting controls.
The 4-pole flat plug delivers running light, brake, and turn signal power to your trailer. It’s the most common connector style for small utility trailers, boat trailers, and cargo haulers, so you can hook up and go without adapters.
A poor ground connection is one of the biggest causes of trailer light problems. This harness uses a dedicated ground wire that must be secured to clean, corrosion-free bare metal, giving you consistent lighting performance under braking, signaling, and running lights.
LED trailer lights draw less current than incandescent bulbs, which keeps the converter from being overworked and ensures full brightness from your trailer lights. The Curt T-Connector’s design supports these low-draw LED setups for efficient, long-lasting performance.

Product is great. Arrived in a couple of days. Site is very good. I love the videos showing the installation procedures.
Only issue was that there is no sound with the videos. I thought the sound on my computer failed, but it works for everything else. But even without sound the videos are a great help.
Price was very good. Very good experience with the site and the purchase
Quick and simple pkug and play. Entire install was about 20mins only because I took my time and routed the trailer hook up wire though a plug hole for a cleaner look.
This is my second hitch and harness, my car was in a wreck so I'm replacing the damaged hitch. This hitch is very easy to install and does the job well. etrailer provides great how-to videos and customer service.
Easy plug and play install. If you can open the truck you can install this wiring harness. Great pictures and step bey step instructions
This was much easier to install than I thought. Here's their video. Made life a lot easier.
The wiring harness for my 2006 hyauni sonata was very easy to install. It took me about 40 minutes from state to finish. Etrailer you are the best. Thank you

This harness was an exact match for my Hyundai, Sonata. The instructions were precise in details and photos. I installed and tested my trailer lights in less than an hour. Great product
Worked as advertised. About a 10 minute install. A lot better than buying a 4 prong trailer plug and cutting and splicing into wires.
Well made video made this a very easy installation. I haven't used this wiring harness yet, so I can't comment on it's actual integration with the vehicle and trailer or it's longevity. All items seemed to be well-made so don't doubt it will last. overall a great experience.
I was amazed at how easy it was to install both the hitch and the wiring harness. The total job took 2 of us less than 45 minutes to complete.
hitch mounting holes on bracket was a little off had to pull it in but nice finish, and wiring harness was easy plug and play.
First, I would like to say that I received this product quickly and promptly. Furthermore, the communication was phenomenal. After opening the package and looking at the harness, I could tell this was going to be very easy to setup. Took a little time getting the panels in the trunk off, but once I did, everything was simple. One thing you will need to do is have a good ground. Either utilize the sheet metal screw is included and ground or sand an area to remove the paint. Ease of installing is 1 of 5 (very easy). Product reliability, not sure yet since I haven't actually taken it out on the road. Will recommend this harness and any other harness this company makes to anyone. No splicing or cutting, ease of installation is what you need, here you go.
The wiring harness was a piece of cake to install. It took longer to remove and replace the plastic panel than it did to plug in the connectors and route the wires.
Second hitch purchased from etrailer, quality same as the first ,excellent. Installation proceeded without any big issues. A floor jack helped make a one man installation simple. Wireing revealed a faulty brake light switch.
I have used this hitch and wiring harness extensively over the past year. Works great, great value.
This wiring harness was simple! Unlike other harnesses I've seen on the market (where you have to splice and reconnect wires) this kit was plug and play ready...couldn't have been much simpler! It also came with zip ties and adhesives for the 'extra organized' ones out there!
I dreaded this part - installing the wiring. It was so simple. SO SIMPLE. And when I had my trunk panel off, I was able to determine that the jackwagons at my local body shop didn't tighten my trunk latch properly when they did some work - so this wiring kit helped me there, too. ALSO - It just worked. I plugged it into each tail light, plugged it into the trailer, and VOILA! Frickin LIGHTS! To be easier, I can only imagine chucking the unopened package at my unopened trunk and having it install itself, via some obscure nano-materials interaction process. But that's just silly. I'm keeping an eye on it, just in case - but man - what a good product for a good price.
I watched the video and started the installation. It took less time than it said it would. Only thing I ran into was do NOT put the white ground wire to a bolt that is on the tail light assembly on the inside. I had a back feed to the trailer lights so both lights wound blink when turn signal was on. Ground it by screwing it to the body inside the trunk and it will work properly.
Worked well for my 2007 Hyundai Sonata. I also purchased the Curt hitch receiver hitch and drawbar. All 3 of these Curt products work exactly as advertised and are holding up well after a year of normal use. I highly recommend them.
I have an old trailer that I use to take yard debris and other trash to service center for disposal. It does not need lights but thought it would be best. Wow, the kit sent was like so easy to install. Everything fit and everything works great. Navigating the website was as close to perfect as I have seen. The amount of helpful materials was way beyond just what was necessary. Great job by everyone. My second purchase here and both were equally impressive.
A must buy with the Sonata hitch, Take your time and make it look nice. Very easy install.I wrecked a couple plastic push in screws. Napa had them. Bring in the old one to match up.

Excellent, thanks for saving me money. Love your products. Send 50 off coupons, cause Im so nice.
This is one outstanding product. There's no cutting and splicing of wires. Why didn't someone think of this before? It took far longer to remove the car's cover panels than to connect this wiring harness. Also, to my amazement, the instructions were specific to my vehicle, including pictures! I have just one problem with this product. It's connector doesn't make reliable connection with the trailer's connector. I have to wiggle the connectors and play around till all lights are working, and then I have little confidence that they will stay working till I get where I'm going. The problem is not on the trailer end because I never had any problems with the connector on the previous wiring harness.
I put two new trailer light sets on my trailer and only one side will work. Both sides work with other wiring harnesses

Thank you for your review. It sounds like you are having a common ground issue. In most cases when some trailer lights work and others dont it is the ground connection on the vehicle side or the trailer side. You want to make sure the wiring harness ground connection is grounded to a clean bare metal surface free of dirt or paint.
All harnes Mach perfect. Only plug and unplug connectors. 5 minutes job is dam
4 hitches in 4 years, plus plug-in harnesses. Everything always fit and functioned properly. The installation videos are superb. A very painless and stress-free experience. Thanks
