Question:
Hi, Code: C56049 or Code: 118557 fit a Sonata 2014 GLS with LEDinch tail lights ? Somebody send me a caution: If you use with leds tail lights, you need converters with power supply as well as devices such as diodes will avoid the plethora of fault indicators that are likely to shine brightly on your dashboard Thank you

Since the Tekonsha # 118557 and Curt # C56049 are powered by a connection to the battery and have converter boxes, there aren't any issues when using them with LED tail lights on your 2014 Hyundai Sonata GLS; you won't need to use any diodes or resistors to make your harness work properly to power your trailer lights.
I do recommend using the Tekonsha # 118557 since we've found that the powered Modulite converters on these harnesses are much more reliable than some of the others available. This harness will tee into your vehicle's tail lights and provide you with a 4 way connector to power your trailer lights.
I've linked the installation video of this harness on your vehicle that you may want to have a look at.
