I like the receiver but the installation was a little harder then necessary. If 4 spring wire bolt pullers were supplied instead of just 2, it would have been a lot easier.
Great fit and easy installation. The included fishwires make what would normally be a daunting task very easy.
The video on the website was a great reference before doing the work.
Fit and finish were awesome. If the receiver came out 2 to 3 more Inches my Kuat Bike rack would be able to fold up With no bikes on. I will need to modify some type of Extension. Bike is super close to truck
Installing this on a 6.7 takes a little bit more work as the intercooler does not allow the bumper bolts to slide in for the top wing bolts. I had to unbolt my intercooler to give myself enough room to slide the bolts back. Additionally, my plow mounts were too long and had to be cut down. So double check that on your install!
Unit fit right in. The only problem is that it doesn’t extend out to the front of the truck. We need to buy an extension for it now. That could be modified for a better fit in the future.
Sorry say the Curt front hitch did not meet the standards I have expected to receive with E Trailer products.
The instructions said to remove nuts from the frame rail bolts and push them back, no amount of juggling could make them allow them to be pushed back. Even if i was able to push them back to install the hitch earls the bolt are to short to install hitch and nuts.
The problem may lie with the manufactures variance. But that maters little when the product can not be installed on the applicable vehicle.
I did consider disassembling the bumper, grill and the turbo charger heat exchanger, but that is not feasible.
I did look in to your other product that uses the tow hook location, but that is not also feasible due to the turbo heat exchanger location. Nut are not accessible that hold the tow hooks on.

This hitch has held up nicely over the last year or so. I used it every weekend to haul my dirtbikes. I have a new power wagon as of today so I will be buying a 2nd front hitch from Etrailer in the near future. Excellent purchase.

This hitch is fantastic, it was easy to install and with it I am now able to maneuver my 26 foot boat through the narrow opening of my fence and onto a concrete slab. The ordering process was fast and easy and the shipping to Hawaii was reasonable and got the hitch in just a few days. I also really appreciate the follow up asking if the item and install went ok. Its been a year and I am extremely pleased with this hitch, it was an excellent purchase.
The front mount is a game changer. You can access difficult situations and negotiate tight parking or storage. The receiver is a very sturdy piece. you will need two people to get this one into position. I had problems with the fit up. I do not believe it was the hitch, however. my frame hung over in various locations and had some inferior weld from the factory. the frame needed to be trimed in one location and one weld needed to be replaced. In my case, i can weld and it was not a problem. However, if I did not have the skills and equipment, it would have required a trip to the shop and most shops will not touch the frame welds for liability reasons. It's just something you should be aware of before you start complaining that "it doesn't fit". The problem may be your pickup and not the hitch.

Perfect for my application, very high quality. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars was the packaging was not the greatest. Part of my hitch had ripped through the box and was pretty scuffed up. I really appreciated the installation video on your website, but I wish it was shown with a factory installed winch, which made the installation more difficult.
Fit properly. Works well for designed purpose. I'm using it for a SnowSport plow. I tend to hit the stacked pile too hard and have bent the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver. The receiver box was pushed backward and tilted up. The up-tilt lifted the plow too high to work by the end of last season.
The plow is putting a lot more than 500 lbs load on the receiver. I'm way beyond designed specs. I don't blame the hitch. I blame my inability to hold back on pushing snow taller than the hood of my 4wd RAM 2500. It was the only way to stack enough snow out of the way to get through the season.
I've had it cut and straightened, mostly. It's working for this season, but fixing the bends cost what I paid for the hitch in the first place. If it bends again this season, I'll probably add some 3-4" x 1/4" plate to the top and bottom of the cross tube to reinforce things.
I got the hitch and made a appointment to have it put on. That fell through so I decided to tackle it myself. It was extremely easy, my wife helped hold it in place while I got the bolts started. I use the hitch which I install in the front of my 2500 Ram to haul my ebikes on a bike rack. Works excellent.

Excellent front mount trailer hitch, and to install, simply by following the directions
Fits as described, installed it with my 8 year old boy. Easy to put on and looks good.
I was totally amazed at the quality and the fit to my truck this hitch went on so easy even though I have a brush guard on this truck also. This item went on in about 45 minutes and that was to unpack it and get out the tools start to finish.

Great I use it all the time in tight places, so much easier then backing in a trailer in small areas
Installation was a little rough but now that its on, it is perfect! Some guys have posted that they installed it by themselves and much respect to them. I needed two guys, a floor jack, a bottle jack (to spread the ends apart an extra 1/8 inch), a pry bar, a hammer, and a bigger hammer. The most important tool of all though is the etrailer installation video. the written instructions are not good and they only make sense after watching the video.

This was installed on a 2018 Ram 2500. I was afraid that it was too low to the ground but in the last year I have only touched ground a couple of time deep dips in the road and a few curbs that I came to far up on. I couldnt be happier with this product. it is so solid.
Wasn't sure this part would fit on my 2017 Ram 2500 Power Wagon, because Curt hadn't "approved" it yet, but it went on very easy. They included longer bolts that were needed due to my built in winch and the feeder wires were a great help. I lost a little approach clearance, but it is worth it. etrailer was great during the order process.
Hitch arrived in three days, installed in an hour! Perfect fit on my 2017 Ram Tradesman 2500 HD. Will have to lengthen my bike rack tube due to design of rack. Thanks Sammy for calling Curt, then guaranteeing return shipping if no fit. You can hardly notice it's there!
Pretty easy to install with the right tools. Not really noticable after it is installed. You do have to loosen the bumper, but you don't have to remove it. I bought it for a bicycle rack, works perfectly.

Excellent a good thing to add to your truck easy to install 2016 dodge ram 2500 use it all the time when camping for ebikes could be easily used for a genarater etrailer is the best place to deel with buying stuff for your needs never had a problem with them prices are fare! Thanks Etrailer
The hitch boltted in well.
Very clean looking although the hitch pin is behind the valance which makes it hard to put the pin in. I still like it.
Ship time was super fast. Product is very heavy duty and the powder coat was perfect. All the hardware is included plus some cool wire to help fish a bolt through a tight spot. Directions were 95% useful and I also found a video by the manufacturer showing how to install it. Could not be more happy.
Good solid hitch. Took about an hour with help of my son. The drivers side on 2016 Ram Diesel was pretty easy but the passagers side was a bit challenging, because the two bolts that needed to be pushed in were being restricted on the other side but we got it done.

I am surprised this didn't fit. Curt does not list any exceptions for this being install on 2010 to 2018 Ram 2500s except that it will not fit 2 wheel drive models. Do you have a 4 wheel drive? I did see a few people say they needed to move the radiator assembly out of the way with turbo diesels, so that may be required in your case.
