Wiring a trailer doesn’t have to mean splicing or routing power all the way to the battery. This CURT T-Connector plugs directly into the ports behind the tail lights and is ready to go once connected. There’s no separate power lead to run, making it a clean, straightforward installation that just works.
The integrated converter keeps the trailer lights working right by combining the stop, turn, and tail light signals from the vehicle into a 4-pole output. It protects the factory wiring from overloads and keeps everything operating within the proper 5-amp capacity for the running light circuit. That means solid brake and turn signals every time you hook up.
Whether your setup uses modern LED lamps or standard incandescent bulbs, this harness handles both without issue. It’s designed to read signal inputs correctly and deliver proper voltage to any trailer lighting style, keeping everything bright and in sync.
The 4-flat connector gives you standard running light, brake, and turn signal functions and can easily be adapted for 5-way, 6-way, or 7-way systems if you add accessories later. It’s a simple foundation that supports whatever trailer wiring setup you need down the road.

Hey Leonard, as long as it's not located in a place where it'll get submerged the converter box will handle rain just fine.
