Question:
1999 Toyota Tacoma, Plug-in to rear tail light wiring harness for trailer
asked by: Michael T
Expert Reply:
Hey Michael! For a wiring harness that plugs into your Tacoma's rear tail lights you'll want the Curt T-Connector item # C55379. This connector will provide you with a 4-way connector.
If you need a 7-way connector you'll also have to install the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller item # ETBC7. The kit includes a pre-wired 7- and 4-way trailer connector that mounts easily at the rear of your vehicle with an included bracket. This kit is designed for use on a vehicle with an existing 4-way flat trailer connector and plugs directly into it.
There are no plug in 7-way connectors for a 1999 Toyota Tacoma. If you have any additional questions feel free to throw them into the comment box below and I'll be happy to help you.
