Question:
I’m building a Toyota Tacoma Bed Trailer. I’d like to use the tail, brake and both turn signals. The bed had the factory tail lights and connectors. Will this system work for me? Or will I need to get the 2-3 conversion setup?

The # C55379 Curt harness is going to put a vehicle side trailer connector at the back of your truck bed trailer. So it's not going to plug into the connector at the back of your tow vehicle. Instead use the # TR118821 wiring harness that splices into the truck bed's tail lights. Then add the 2-to-3 converter, part # C56196, like you mentioned with 2 extra diodes, part # RM-792, to separate the circuits so you can use the brake lights and turn signals independently.
