When the back end starts to sag with a trailer or heavy cargo, the LoadLifter 5000 air springs step in with up to 5,000 lbs of load-leveling capacity. They help keep your vehicle level front to rear, which means steadier steering, safer braking, and headlights that stay aimed correctly. By spreading the weight across all four wheels, the system takes the strain off your factory suspension so it can handle heavy loads without bottoming out or bouncing around.
Every load is different. With these air springs you can adjust air pressure anywhere from 5 psi to 100 psi for the ride that fits your setup. Add more air when hauling or towing for firmer support, or drop it down when unloaded for a smoother drive. Each spring can be inflated independently using the included manual valves and air lines, letting you level side to side if your load isn’t balanced.
Durability is key when you rely on your suspension every day. These air springs use 2-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber that resists wear and road shock. The endcaps are made from high-strength Zytel nylon, lighter and more corrosion-resistant than steel, so they won’t rust or develop leaks over time. Air Lift’s exclusive roll plates protect each bag and boost load capacity while helping extend the life of the system.
Heavy trailers and uneven cargo can make any truck feel unsettled on the road. This system evens things out by reducing sway and absorbing road shock for a smoother ride. It helps tires wear evenly and keeps steering more predictable whether you’re pulling a travel trailer down the highway or hauling gear through town.
The kit comes with mounting brackets, hardware, manual inflation valves, and air lines so you can bolt it up and start adjusting right away. Once installed, you can easily add an optional compressor system later if you want in-cab control or wireless adjustment on the go.

Things are working well so far. I tow and haul during the spring,summer and fall. The most air I put in the bags was 50 PSI. The air still holds pretty good towing.Time will tell if the bags hold up as the bags age.
