Hello John, thanks for reaching out, and congrats on the new truck. Yes, the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # TFR350SDJ will affect the onboard scales on your 2026 Ford F350. The system operates by reading how level the back of your truck is. It will still work for lighter loads but anything that makes you sag to the point the Timbrens engage won't be accurate.

Do you use the onboard scales a lot. What kind of trailer will you be towing?

I was an air bag believer always fight the handling of the trailer with the load. With my new pickup I decided to try the timbren kit and after putting a lot of miles on my truck toying my camper I will never go back to anything else. The first thing I noticed was the handling I went from using both hands on the wheel to using just one no white knuckle steering. Ride was just as good or even better with the timbren loaded. It does ride a lot rougher with no load tough that is the only downfall. I live with that because the stability towing the trailer is so much better. The air bag is only better when not towing a trailer.

I've put in on 3 of my vehicles the dually service van i use the most but it's the best thing ever so far. The ease of install was the icing on the cake for me. The handling was a night and day difference in the stability

I’ve had two consecutive F350 single wheel pick up trucks both pulling 40 foot fifth wheels with gross weights of 15,000 pounds. I had a little sag on both of them so I added the Timbrens. The small bump stocks that they give you out of the factory are terrible. I simply removed them and Timbrens I purchased from etrailer and what a difference. A lot more stability, no porpoising and a lot smoother turns on regular roads and exit ramps. When I am not pulling the fifth wheel, I have no issues when it comes to hitting any bumps or any different handling. It is a smooth experience for me. I think it’s all worth it. You get more bang for your Buck.

@Robert Hey Robert. Thanks for writing all that up. Glad to hear the Timbrens have made such a big difference with your towing setup. Good to know they didn't make the unloaded ride too rough either. Thanks for sharing!
