This light bar is built using surface-mount technology (SMT). This method of construction involves soldering LEDs directly to the surface of a printed circuit board. SMT eliminates the need for leads, which are used in older through-hole technology. The result is a circuit board that is smaller yet provides more routing area and that offers superior performance, reliability, and durability.
Circuit boards constructed using SMT have been shown to perform better under rough conditions with excessive vibration than those made using the through-hole method. And when would vibration be more likely to occur than when you are driving?
Waterproof Construction
The LEDs on this light bar are suspended in clear urethane for maximum protection from the elements. This protective coating helps to fully seal each diode - and the light bar as a whole - to create a waterproof system for your truck.

Installed the light bar on my mini camper for safety and visibility one year ago. It continues to function 100% and looks great. Very pleased with this and every purchase experience I have had with etrailer.
Very nice, like that it is not really visible unless lights are on.
It is possible to install without removing tailgate ! Did it today is less than an hour.
There is a slight gap visible f try om top where piece overlaps a sheetmetal seam on each side, that is not even. To be safe, I applied clear silicone sealant on topside where these gaps are obvious. Also where tailgate harness passes thru middle opening, there was a slight gap to tape, so sealant was also applied in that area to prevent water seepage behind seal of lightbar unit.

Outstanding product for the price. Easy installation.
It really lights up the back of the truck, and is very unobtrusive when not activated. Love the extra safety is provides at night and in inclement weather.
I put tailgate lights on all my trucks. The last truck I switched to rampage brand and they were brighter and no lights burned out. So when I traded trucks there was no question to get the exact same one
Was easy to put on my 2013 Toyota Tundra looks good works great very good very bright do not know it under tail gate until you turn on lights stop or turn looks very nice
Simple install with easy to read instructions. It took longer to clean the area on my truck then to put it in place and plug it in. The product was packed and shipped in a hard durable tube to protect the light bar.
The light has exceeded my expectations ! Great product. Highly recommend for my fellow pickup truck friends !

The lights were a Christmas gift. They were easy to install and work really well.
The light arrived as scheduled. No problem installing, took 30 minutes to install and working. It works great, am very happy.
I would order from company again, was surprised to receive email letting me know package was delivered same night as delivery.
Works great. Holding up in the Florida weather and doing fine.
Well made glad I ordered it packing was very very good almost to much but better safe than sorry . Third thing I ordered customer for life will tell all my friends thank you
