Installed box on trailer tongue. It fits perfectly. So convenient to have all trailer tools and accessories right there on trailer. Piston for lid works great.
I had shopped for months at retail stores and on line. This box was the best buy.
This is a high quality toolbox with a nicer looking finish than most boxes. Seals work really well and keep my contents dry. I would recommend this product to others. I would also like to note that this was my first purchase from etrailer and was a little nervous when ordering. etrailer was great and George kept me in the loop via phone and emails each step of the way. I was very impressed by the service that I received and will purchase from them again.
This was a great storage box for my travel trailer
I mounted it on my trailer and installed batteries c/w an inverter. Solid workmanship. The finish has no marks on it even after hauling it down gravel forestry trunk roads and highways.
This tool box, shape and size are perfect for my utility and car trailer. Good gauge steel, well made. Holding up very well. Water tight. Good finish
After a year of use, would definitely buy again. Plenty of storage for winch, chains, straps, ropes, jack and more.
It is large enough for all my stuff. Great finish, fit my frame almost exactly, just a very minor taper difference, could be my frame also. But I’m very pleased.

It’s holding up very nicely, but I do think it could be a bit thicker. The box that it replaced was much thicker but just too small

Attached are the photos of my toolbox i nstallation.
This was my first time ordering from etrailer and was very pleased with their service and communication. Product shipped the same day I ordered it and arrived 2 days later. The packaging was damaged to the extent that I figured the tool box had to suffer as well, but to my surprise there was only one small area that needed touched up with a little black paint and did not warrant retuning. The tool box appears to be built very well and should easily meet my needs. I would purchase this tool box again and not hesitate to do business with etrailer.
Box is really nice. Latch works smooth as well as the strut on the lid.
Was great to see its American made.

One year later still going strong.
The steel RC tongue box is rock solid. Many boxes are flimsy and have cheap components. This box will no doubt stand up to abuse and last a long time. As a trailer manufacturer, we only install premium components on our trailers and this is out go-to toolbox.
We bought for our camper trailer to replace the old smaller one of the same brand we had bought previously. Buy the biggest one your camper will allow.
I originally purchased a less expensive tongue box from a local discount tool retailer. After closer inspection, it was clear that this cheaper model was of very poor build and material quality. I returned it and ordered this RC Manufacturing box from etrailer. After a year of pretty heavy use and all kinds of weather, it has held up perfectly. I should have realized all along hat there is no substitute for quality workmanship and materials.
This is a really well constructed...solid box. Very happy with it. It took a bit of a beating during shipment...a few areas chipped and textured finish scraped off...but nothing to do with the manufacturer or merchant. I put it in the front of my travel trailer...behind the propane tanks. Had to move the tanks forward a bit. It now stores my two batteries, I added a marine battery switch, and it still has tons of room to hold blocks of wood, water hose, and power cord. Had to install angle iron across the front of the frame rails because it was a bit too far back to fit on top of the frame. I'm really happy with the finished product.
solid product, love the steel with powder coat. Installation was pretty easy, and it looks great, love the extra ruggedness.
The bottom of the toolbox separated from the sides going down the interstate within month of installation. I was extremely lucky I did not cause and accident at 75mph.

the tool box is fantastic. Not a mark on it. Very durable. I keep my batteries and inverter in it. Well thought out design and finish. No rust at all. Survived a Canadian Winter stored in the snow and ice as well as UV in the summer.
