Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this Phoenix USA steel underbody toolbox for your truck or trailer. Now if you're looking for a strong, secure, weather resistant underbody toolbox for your truck or trailer, this might be a great option for you to consider. This box can be used on flatbeds, trailers, utility trucks, and other heavy duty vehicles. And since this is an underbody toolbox, it doesn't take up the bed space in your truck or trailer and it's going to keep storage accessible but also out of the way.

So a box like this is typically designed for contractors, truckers, landscapers, and trailer owners who need secure out of the way storage. So this is gonna be ideal for holding your tie downs, your tools, your chains, and other equipment. Before we go any further, let me give you some measurements just so you have a good idea of its size. So looking at the overall length, we're sitting right at 36 inches long. (tape snaps) And then looking at the width, we're gonna be measuring from the back to the front of the door.

So it looks like we're sitting pretty close to 18 inches. And then the height from bottom to top, again, 18 inches. So this is gonna be very easy to open and to throw your gear in. I do wanna point out that this does not include any installation brackets. That's something that you would have to supply separately.

You wanna find the brackets that's gonna work best for your particular application. So no brackets or no hardware is included with this. This is built to last. This is constructed of heavy gauge, heavy duty rather 13 gauge steel construction. And obviously as you see here, we have this really nice gloss black powder coat finish.

So again, this is going to fight against rust and corrosion. And opening this up here, we have this T latch handle. So I'm just going to flip this up, give it a turn. And then that's going to allow me to swing the door down as you can see there. And you can see I already have like a standard toolbox in there, just kind of giving you an idea of what the storage space is going to look like. Lemme see if I can give you a lower angle, somewhat closer view there so you have a more direct line of sight in there. So we have these cables here that are going to keep the door from a swinging all the way down. They are removable. They have these S hooks here. And then also, if you notice here around the perimeter, we have an automotive grade seal, that's gonna keep the rain out, dust road grime, road spray, things like that. So all that to say your gear inside is gonna be safe from the weather. So everything is gonna stay dry inside, which is great. So again, 6.75 cubic feet of storage. It's gonna be very open, you can see your stuff easily. You're gonna be able to take things in and out without having to worry about a center post or anything like that. And then, as I mentioned, this is going to give you secure storage. By the way, the door has a good weight to it. So you're just gonna turn this T handle here and then that's going to secure the door in place. And then you are going to get two keys. And so when you turn that lock, the key in the lock there, you're not gonna be able to operate that T-handle. So very easy to lock and unlock. So again, two keys are included and the T-handle latch here is stainless steel. So you're not gonna have to worry about that getting rusty or corroded or anything like that.
