The utility storage box came a day early and I already placed it in the back of my pick up truck. I intend to use it for tools and to store my hitch rails (which are removable) during the off season.
For the price, this storage box can’t be beat.
I was looking for an inexpensive solution and this was it. I can also put two locks if I wish.
No problems with it after 1 year. Used it many times to carry things in the back of my pickup. It's held up well. I store then same tools (chainsaw, string trimmer,etc) in it for use when I got out to my property.
This is a very good quality product, at a good price. It fit great in-between rear wheel wells of the bed of my 2017 Nissan Frontier Pro-4X. The description "etrailer" advertises is correct. Easy "site" to navigate & place orders. Prompt delivery. The height/depth of box does not hinder/interfer with bed cover. The hasps for padlocks (padlocks not included) are strong and secure. The hinge, & top lid work easily and provide a good seal to keep water out. It's a very durable/tough box; I carry heavy tools, snow chains, "Hi-Lift" Jack components, & heavy duty vehicle recovery equipment in it (200lbs +) I am very pleased with this purchase.

I do like this box and it does serve my needs. Two issues, the price is high for a mound of plastic, and the lock hasps align but they prevent the box from completely closing when locked. The locked box lid sits like a centimeter above where it sits when not locked. Strapping/locking this to a cargo carrier on the back of a small SUV...BAJA BOUND!
This cargo box is made really well. Was shipped to me very quickly and will be a solid fit for my Feneral Contracting Company. Definitely recommend this product.

For the price, and excellent storage box. To improve weather resistance I added some self-adhesive weatherstripping from a home-improvement store around the edge of the lid. Since the box is transported on a cargo carrier at the rear of my 17' Casita travel trailer, I also added some DOT red reflective tape to the side of the box facing back, and DOT silver reflective tape on the sides. I use the box to transport items I don't want or don't have room for inside my trailer, such as a 5 gallon pail and lid holding the sewer hose, sewage tank chemicals, etc, my DISH Tailgater satellite dish, small charcoal grill and charcoal, fresh water hose and filter and indoor/outdoor carpet and doormat for outside the trailer under the awning.
The box is sturdy, and in a year of use hasn't weathered despite exposure to the sun and weather.
I saved hundreds over similar purpose-built cargo boxes by spending a couple of bucks for weatherstripping and reflective tape. I would definitely buy this box again.

Still loving it a year on.
This was a great purchase experience! All of the salespeople I got on the phone spoke good English, knew the product well, answered all my questions, and got it coming to me fast. Great job e-trailer!
Side walls of storage box are not as thick and sturdy as I hoped. Price was average for quality of construction. 5 stars for etrailer communication and follow up. Shipping very fast beyond expectations.
This box mounted to the floor of my trailer and has worked great for storing all my hardware for hitches, tie downs, and everything needed to haul my SXS.
Box would not close because hinges were installed incorrectly. Poorly manufactured and not worth the money!
We show registered beef cattle and purchased the box for show supplies. It is very sturdy and can also be used for seating at a show. It is light-weight, attractive and perfect for an exhibition display. We were also very impressed with the ease of ordering and prompt delivery.
For the price this box is great! This was my first order through etrailer and they’re bad ass, didn’t have the box in stock, reached out offering me an alternative, completely unsolicited. They kept me informed as to status updates, couldn’t ask for more.

Great quality cargo box. Have had the triangle shaped one for trailer for many years. No matter the weather, contents stay bone dry. Fits perfectly on Hitch Haul 20x60 cargo carrier. Also, perfect fit for Jeep Wrangler (rear seat removed).
Worked out perfect, installed immediately. Also drilled and bolted to bed floor
Overall the box I ordered arrived on time and will suit my needs. However a slight complaint and this may not be valid for all, is that the lid when it closes automatically latches therefore you cannot open the lid with one hand other than that the box is as advertised
It looks to be pretty sturdy however I received it with scuff marks And the lid has a small portion pushed in area. I'm not that upset about it because it's gonna go through hell anyway
The density of the plastic is less than expected however the bigger issue is with the latch where it meets in front. These are improperly aligned with the top, so when latched the top raises
about a whole centimeter allowing for am imperfect seal.
Now I’m going to need to dremel out the latch to get the top to lie flat. ugh!
