Question:
of your different toolbox manufacturers, which one is the most heavy duty? Does one use heavier gauge material than the others? I am looking for a toolbox for 10 Ton heavy equipment trailer and it needs to be strong and stout.

If you're looking for heavy duty and don't mind it weighing more on your trailers tongue, then I recommend going with a steel toolbox for your trailer like the RC Manufacturing T-Series Trailer Tongue Tool Box - A-Frame - Steel - 5.2 Cu Ft - Black item # 313-TM362016M. The RC tongue box is made from 14-gauge steel. Not only is it bigger but its made of a heavier gauge steel. Steel toolboxes are strong and normal exposure to water will not cause corrosion. Steel workboxes are reasonably priced and this combination of strength and affordability makes it a good choice for a work trailer.
