Very disappointed in the brightness, especially considering the price. I replaced my older incandescent backup light on one side only to compare. The old light lit up the area behind the trailer MUCH better than the LED light. The LED light is much more directional and the old light more like a flood light. If I got down on at eye level with the lights the LED light appeared to be only slightly brighter. The incandescent of course had a much warmer glow but it lit up the back of the garage much better than the LED. I installed the backup lights a couple years because I wanted an assist light when backing the boat in the dark. I'll keep these ONLY because I want to match the LED tail lights that I just installed. I am much happier with those so will keep both (STL22RB). Bottom line, at roughly $40 a piece I expected much better when compared to the incandescent lights they replaced. Definitely NOT worth the money in my opinion.
Patrick B - 05/24/2013Used for backup lights on horse trailer and hoped they would double as loading/staging lights. Adequate for backup only. Expected more from that many diodes at that price. Well-made product that should update to easily available higher performance diodes.

Dennis - 01/14/2018The boat ramp I use has no lighting and I was hoping these LED backup lights would be bright enough to show me the way. The light from them is diffused quite a bit and not as directional as I had hoped.
They are still brighter than the ones I had before. I then bought some reflective cones to put on the edges of the ramp and they light up real well and can be seen from quite a ways away.
Ordered and received items fast. Installed as backup lighting on my boat trailer. Connecting was easy and lights work great.
Great set of reverse lights. Shipped within two hours of ordering. Great customer service.

works swell as a backup light on my parent's Polaris ranger.
Great replacement for my halogen that kept burning out with this sealed light.
Product has replaced the old single bulb...nice and bright in the dark...if your current gasket is in good shape and still flexible it is an easy in and out replacement with a small screwdriver...
Disappointed there is no Template and no instructions on line or with the items.
Need exact hole size to cut. Trial and fit took forever. Have not had a chance to try it out backing up my dark driveway.
