When you’re carrying serious weight, you need an axle that tracks straight and stays steady. This Dexter trailer axle beam is rated for 6,000 lbs and built from high-strength steel for dependable support mile after mile. The 3" diameter tubing with a .16" wall thickness gives it the backbone to handle heavy loads without flexing, while the bend in the beam creates a proper camber angle so your tires wear evenly and maintain full tread contact on the road.
Keeping bearings greased is simple with Dexter’s E-Z Lube spindles. Each spindle has a built-in grease zerk so you can inject new lubricant without taking anything apart. Grease flows through the spindle to both the inner and outer bearings, flushing out old grease and keeping things running smooth. It’s quick, clean, and keeps downtime to a minimum.
This axle’s underslung design has the spring seats welded to the underside of the beam, lowering the trailer deck for easier loading and better stability. The spring seats are welded at 80" centers, ready for standard leaf spring suspension setups. When paired with the 95" hub-face length, it gives your trailer a balanced stance that’s easy to handle on the road and predictable when backing up.
Everything you need for a solid suspension setup is already built in. The axle includes straight, no-drop spindles that accept inner bearing 25580 and outer bearing 15123 (sold separately). Brake flanges are pre-welded in a 5-bolt configuration, ready for compatible brake assemblies. With welded spindles and spring seats, it’s a durable, ready-to-install foundation that simplifies fabrication or replacement projects.

That’s pretty incredible, David. When you think about it, the etrailer family started this business back in the 1880s. Folks would bring their broken wagons to Joseph so he could help get them back on the road. Fast forward about 146 years, and we’re still doing the same thing, helping people find the parts they need to keep moving. The only difference is the way we do it.
