Quick Tip: Old snap rings can be a pain to remove. Snap ring pliers can make this a lot easier, and you can find them at most local hardware stores. You can also try gripping each end of the snap ring with 2 regular pliers to pry it open and pop it off.
The simple truth is that salt can be highly corrosive to metal when exposure lasts for an extended period of time. So, the more you tow around it, the more you need to protect your trailer from it.
The Z-Max zinc finish on this jack offers great corrosion protection, even with occasional use around saltwater, to help to ensure that it doesn't end up looking like the one pictured above. Rust-resistant coatings are graded according to a salt spray rating. Basically, this rating shows the amount of time it takes for a material to show signs of corrosion when exposed to pure, continuous salt spray. Traditional zinc plating typically begins to deteriorate after about 100 hours. Dacromet usually lasts for around 300 to 400 hours. Fulton's Z-Max finish lasts for 600 hours in the salt spray test - 30% longer than a standard powder coat finish.
The environment this test creates is much harsher than anything you'll ever experience in your journeys, but it provides a testament to how well this jack resists rust and corrosion.
A trailer jack lifts your trailer high enough at the tongue to allow you to couple it with your vehicle. Usually, your tongue weight is about 10-15% of your gross trailer weight (GTW). For example, a 10,000-lb trailer has a tongue weight of 1,000 lbs to 1,500 lbs. To raise the tongue of a trailer this size, you'd need a jack that can handle a static load of no less than 1,500 lbs. And, yes, it's okay to have a jack with a weight rating that is higher than your trailer's tongue weight. In fact, a jack with a higher capacity should operate more efficiently, allowing you to spend less time cranking and more time fishing.

I have a 1998 Coleman Westlake Pop-up Camper. The original swivel jack has seen better days. It was rated at #500. I did a little measuring on the existing welded plate mount, popped the snap ring lose, ordered this jack, waited 24-hours for new jack to arrive, slid it on the old welded plate, replaced the snap ring, cranked it up and down; slept like a baby!!! It took 15- minutes.
Thanks E-Trailer...
I have purchased from you several times for different items and have ALWAYS been completely satisfied, with support text, videos and info you provide.
Quick to attach and works great. Jack could be made a bit heavier but it works great. Attached to Triton boat trailer
works as expected. I'd buy again.
I installed the unit and you can see the finished product on my 4 1/2' X 9' utility trailer.
Excellent quality for the money. However, I needed to do a minor "rework" of the mounting bracket to get a fit on my trailer. Still, a great value - would definitely recommend!
I bought this at 'e-trailer' because I trust them - great, detailed descriptions, video "support", fast shipping and very customer friendly attitude!
Hello, Well lets say it works, but even with using a grease gun keeping it lubed it is very hard cracking, also the bottom wheel needs to be held down with your foot with pressure to get it to go down. plus the single spring lock button is a bit sloppy can't say I trust it as much as the double pin lock jack I had before. Not very happy with this item.

What is the tongue weight of the trailer? This jack is designed for trailers with tongue weights up to 1200 lbs.
I did not have to use the bolt on brackets as my trailer has a welded flange for the jack. Installation was very easy, took maybe 10-15 minutes-- but you will need a pair of snap ring pliers to do it this way.

Trailer jack still working great. Thanks for checking!
Dimensions of this jack on the website where correct and fit the old mount on my Prestige Trailer for a 1996 Crownline deck boat. The package looked like it got dragged under the delivery truck, but nothing was damaged inside. It came quickly enough and is a good quality jack.

no rust no issues and its a quality jack, only maintenance Ive done is grease it and keep it clean.
Fulton swivel jack , galvanized is a great tongue jack for the money . I have several different kinds of trailers, boat , motorcycle , enclosed , utility , all aluminum and all steel and I use Fulton swivel jacks on all of them . Super easy to install , won't rust and from etrailer fantastic price , fast shipping and unbelievable customer service . If I have a trailer with a welded in fixed tongue jack I usually remove it and put one of these Fulton Swivel Jacks on . The fixed tongue jacks are way to slow and you have to retract it a lot after mounting to your hitch in order to not hit the bottom/foot and if your in dirt roads it's even more likely to bottom out . Swivel jacks are way better and quicker .
This jack has plenty of extension.

If you have a high hitch, this jack will get there...
still working great after a year, trailer gets regular use and this jack has been perfect so far. Trailer is 7k loaded and the jack is strong and reliable. Would definitely buy again!

Still working great as expected! Great product!
This is the 5th boat trailer that I have used this dolly system. Works as advertised.
Can't ask for anything more.

Works as intended.
Fulton performance at a bargain price! Has much better rust resistance than other cheap jacks I've used/seen. Fulton takes care of the small details: A steel bushing for the castor wheel, lock nuts for all bolted connections, a grease zerk to maintain the gearbox, etc. Other cheap jacks ignore those fine points.
My favorite feature: When swung up and retracted, no portion of the jack is higher than the tongue. That means it doesn't interfere with, say, a tongue box mounted close by.
Ordered a new boat trailer jack. Good technical support as my present jack(Shelby) no longer in business. Jack arrived on time, actually shipped early. Installed easily according to the instructions;a video is even available online. Would definitely use etrailer.com again.
Easy install and pleased with the new w heel
Sometimes you can Jack your boat trailer high enough to place on the ball usually because of uneven ground so a extra Jack and a 6/6 o lock of wood maybe 8” long will go under your extra Jack for more heigh. Works great
I'm very pleased with both this product and the e trailer service. I had accidentally ripped off the welded-on original equipment jack from my aging pop-up camper. This solution to a more expensive re-weld that would be made less securely, given the bending of original jack mount, was perfect. I ordered on-line Tuesday evening, standard shipping, received the package on Saturday, and installed the jack in 30 minutes on Sunday. Works and fits perfectly with higher load rating than the original (1200 vrs 1000 lbs). Back in business!
This is a perfect replacement for the tongue jack on a 2 place 12' Triton trailer. It is nicer than the original equipment in that it has a grease zerk by the handle to presumably keep the crank from locking up like the old one. I figure just grease it when I grease the wheel bearings and it should last a long time. Shipping was also super fast.
I replaced the worn out jack on my snowmobile trailer with this marine grade jack, and as I have come to expect from etrailer.com, this product was priced very well, and was delivered quickly. I like that there is a grease fitting on this jack, which the old one lacked. As the swivel was the same size as the last jack, I just removed the snap ring and swapped the jacks, leaving the original mount in place. 10 minute job start to finish, including mounting the wheel and handle. Even if I had changed the mount, it would only have added maybe 10 minutes to the job. Highly recommend.
Just like the old one I replaced. Easy to install and works great.
Part was delivered super fast and is of great quality. Etrailer.com is becoming our go to place on the web for ordering parts. Thank you so much.
Works great!Item recieved was just as described. Easy to install.
Bought this jack to replace a comparable 15-year old trailer jack that had failed. Delivered on time; in good shape; was the right fit--bolted on quickly and easily. After a year, still working perfectly.
The fulton marine jack is a snap swivel type vs a thru bolt, like the one I had on my boat trailer. This one does not fit as well on the tongue of the trailer. The bolts do not fit within the required 1/16". This is on me for not noticing the difference when ordering. I may take it off, put the old one on the boat and this one on the much lighter utility trailer.
