Recommended Jack For Log Splitter That Mounts To 2-1/2" Swivel Base With Snap Ring

Question:

I would like to replace my log splitter jack. It has a welded swivel base. It has a 2.5inch swivel base with snap ring. I just want to use the existing base. Does this jack have the same diameter swivel base?

I have another option for you, but the Round Swivel Marine Jack w/ Wheel - Bolt On - Zinc - Sidewind - 10" Travel - 1,000 lbs # MJ-1206B you were looking at for your Log Splitter does not have a 2.5" swivel base and snap ring, and instead uses a bolt to attach it to the mount.

To replace your current jack you will want to go with the Fulton Round, Snap-Ring Swivel Marine Jack - Bolt On - Sidewind - 10" Lift - 1,200 lbs # FTJ12000101 instead. This jack has a 200lb higher load rating than the jack you were looking at, but will mount right up to the 2-1/2" mount with a snap ring.
