Question:
Where can I order 76196 draw Tite hitch for 21 Durango

Hey Zack, we have great hitch solutions for your 2021 Dodge Durango but the Draw Tite hitch you referenced has been discontinued as Draw Tite is no longer around. So instead a hitch like the etrailer part # e98901 will be a great option. It's not the exact same style as the Draw Tite as it hangs below the rear bumper but that style isn't available from other manufacturers either. Were you planning on doing some towing?

I ordered this hitch and light kit from E-Trailer about a year ago. Both items arrived very quickly , were packaged with care, and the install on the hitch was relatively simple. Both arrived without any damage. As for the trailer hitch installation, I just removed the four bolts that were in the frame of my 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee and aligned the hitch’s pre-drilled holes and they matched perfectly. The install could have been a bit easier with another person holding the hitch so I could align the holes and hand tighten the bolts to start, but instead, I used my jack to hoist the hitch up to free up my hands a bit. The hitch isn’t very heavy, but since the bolts are on either side that need to be fastened to your car’s frame, having another person to hold it in place will just make it a bit easier. All-in-all, doing the hitch install by myself still only took less than a half hour. Now, as far as the wiring is concerned , my son wired it up for me so I can’t speak to that. I seem to recall he had it wired up in an hour or so but that was because he had to get up under the vehicle, he didn’t have a lift. It could have gone quicker if we had a lift. I’ve towed a trailer and 17 foot boat up a fairly steep hill on more than one occasion without any problems and also tow around a 6x9’ trailer regularly and the hitch and light kit have never failed. The products are built very well and E-Trailer offered some of the best prices that I could find when doing my research. If I needed another hitch, I would order from them again. The company produces good quality videos to that show how to do the installation and make themselves available if you have any questions or issues during installation so that’s another reason I chose them. Good luck! I think you’ll be happy if you decide to purchase from them, I am. I hope this review helps.

I have this hitch on my 2025 Durango. This is my 3rd install on Durangos (previous 2004, 2013), I believe all from etrailer. I was going to go with conceal style but wisely opted for the exposed hitch due to increased complexity of the install. I am now 73- yet had no problem on doing the install by myself. I usually keep the receiver installed in the hitch. Living in northeast PA with winter salts I found rust made receiver removal difficult. NOT the hitch fault. I did find the separate wiring harness wiring length barely making the required terminations (a common complaint). I frequently trailer, and the hitch itself has had NO problems. I highly recommend etrailer vs factory for my hitch purchases. Appreciate Etrailer videos making installation go smoother & address most questions.
