I’ve been installing hitches on every type of vehicle for over 45 years and this one was the easiest by far. The instructions were spot on and the hitch was very well constructed. etrailer's shipping was extremely fast and the hitch was as detailed on the website.
Very nice finish, solid little hitch that tucks away. Just got it yesterday so have only reviewed the installation procedure, but looks very simple to install with NO DRILLING. All 6 mounting bolts install through existing holes in the frame. Tucks right up in there for an out of sight hitch.
***THIS ALSO FITS THE ROADSTER S*** I ordered this hitch for a 2013 Mini Cooper Roadster S even though the roadster is not included in the description. I figured it's almost the same as a Mini Hardtop so I would see. As I expected it fits perfect. I use this receiver with a CURT 45592 Euro Trailer Hitch Mount with 2-Inch Ball to pull a 5x10 utility trailer. The trailer is 1K lbs empty with 100lb tongue weight. This receiver installs quick and easy.
This is a very solidly built hitch and is designed perfectly to fit my 2013 Mini Cooper S. Once on you can barely see it and it required no cutting of bumpers or any special tools. It’s a two person installation but barely. Only when holding it up to the car body is when you’ll need another set of hands. It’s basically bolt on and forget it. I highly recommend this product. The instructions left out describing a few small parts and where they go but we figured it out.
Shipped super fast even though I ordered on a Sunday evening. Excellent tracking. The hitch fit perfect ,had good instructions and the provided fishing tool worked great. Excellent experience and great product!
Working on getting bike rack - on backorder but mechanic able to put this on quickly and it barely shows. So far all great!

Great!
Extremely easy to install. Only needed my husband to help hold one side up while I attached it to my Mini Cooper. Now I can pull my teardrop trailer with no problem.
Great customer service, fast shipping, already recommending to other drivers. Let’s hope installation goes well.

It’s been a year now that I’ve had the hitch and I still highly recommend it. The only issue I’ve had is that the lower part of the bumper of my car leaves little room to get the hitch pin in and lock lock on. It’s not a big deal though so just expect a little fiddling with it. If I can do it you can. Also, I appreciate etrailer contacting me a year later to check on how it’s working out. Great customer service!
