This fully welded, corrosion-resistant vehicle trailer hitch receiver is perfect for your light-duty towing needs. Draw-Tite's Tested Tough guarantee ensures that this hitch exceeds industry standards. Drawbar sold separately.Item was received sooner than expected, only a few days. Had tried to order it through a local auto shop. Waited 2-3 months and they could provide no timeframe. So I ordered it from etrailer.com and had [moving company] install it on my 2016 Lexus ES350. Fits well. As per instructions, the heat shield was re-installed with no problem. Am using a Swagman bike rack that allows me to access the trunk with bike attached.
The instructions and design are extremely substandard for attaching to a 2013 Lexus ES300h. The over-simplified instructions do not address the internal cross members or the steel bracket on the passenger side frame rail. The internal cross member is located exactly where the instructions show to drill. The member interfered with placing the bolt and bar in the drilled hole. To compensate I had to spend lots of time grinding it away for the bolt to fit. If I had to do it again, I would drill where the middle hole on the hitch receiver is rather than the forward one. I also had to jury-rig the existing steel bracket to fit and had to omit one bolt that was blocked by the hitch receiver plate.
I was finally able to install the receiver after spending many hours accommodating the poor design / instructions. I will also add the hitch fabrication appears solid and strong, although I have not towed with it yet.
My suggestion to the manufacturer: Please thoroughly research the vehicle models and improve the instructions.

It was easy to go on etrailer.com and find a hitch especially designed to fit my car. This is the 2nd hitch I have ordered and I just ordered a 3rd hitch. The videos comparing the different available hitches are extremely helpful in making the right selection for your personal needs. I plan to install the hitches on my cars and Motorhome so I can interchangeably use a new hitch mounted bicycle rack I also ordered from etrailer.com

GREAT! I have bought 3 Hitches and ALL have served me well!
What should have been done in a little over 1.5 hours took twice as long due to hole misalignment on the hitch. It had to do with the rear heat shield hole alignment to be able to reattach the heat shields. On the passenger side I had to measure & drill out an entirely new hole on the main plate of the hitch assy. And on the driver side I had to drill and extend an existing hole on the same main plate for the same reason, misalignment. The result was that I had to reinstall and take down the entire hitch. Third, the receiver had areas of chipped paint right out of the box exposing bare metal. The receiver is now installed but if you buy one of these be prepared to drill more holes and deal with multi attempts at mounting it.

I wanted to share a link to one of our help articles that shows tips and tricks on straightening out a hitch that has become flexed in transit, causing it not to align properly. This is unfortunately a common problem when shipping heavy hitches, but fortunately it is one that can be fixed. I hope this helps!

Delivered in a few days and arrived in good condition. I bought one before and installed it myself and I got 6 years of great service from it to to attach a bicycle rack. This is my second hitch and I am getting a local garage to install it because it requires boring some holes and temporarily removing a heat shield.

Great. Once it is installed it is good for life. I use it for a bicycle rack. No problems. The rack attaches to the hitch. This setup is better than attaching the rack to the body of the car.
Quality hitch, fit well and serves my need to carry bike rack with single mountain bike load. But beware - the vehicle is a 2016 Lexus ES350 and has limited ground clearance and the car just isn't meant to carry a hitch. The hitch frame will scrape pavement when backing up through dips even if not loaded if you're not careful. Except for backing up, clearance generally ok except for deeper dips and speed bumps, depending on load and speed.
For do it yourself installation, don't try to work around the mufflers. Buy new muffler gaskets before starting and remove the mufflers so you can drill through the frame easily.
The main I bought the 36530 hitch was due to the instruction video which displayed the quality I expected in the product. The hitch went on well but when I tried to attach the bike rack it would not go in. I didn't think the problem could be with the hitch so I assume the powder coat mil was too high. So I ground the paint off up the pin holes. Tried it again and it still would not insert.Upon inspection there was a weld spot or a weld slag inside the hitch hole. After spending 45 minutes hand filing I could insert the rack. You should have a 1-1/4 go no go test for the hitch to ensure attachments can easily fit. The frustration of getting the hitch on only to find you have to fix an issue that should have been identified at the factory is unacceptable for the customer, your design engineer, and quality department. Overall I am impressed with the details provided to make the sale but unimpressed with the quality.
This company is top tier. They not only offer a great products, they deliver their products on time. Ordered a bike trailer hitch (36530), Kuat bike rack (TS02B) and Cable Locks (PTSCLK12). All are of excellent quality and made of durable material that will last and last. Instruction videos are very helpful and made the installation on my 2016 Lexus ES350 easy to install. I'm happy with my purchases and will buy from etrailer.com again.
Hitch was more than I needed. I should have purchased the hidden hitch. This one bottoms out backing out of drives with an incline. It does have skid rails so it is just noisy. Indtallation was perfect. Very professional with secured wiring. Great job guys.

Good build quality. I had it installed on my 2016 Lexus ES 350, with my mechanic for roughly $125.
It does reduce the available clearance for the car. So on occasion it touched the ground coming out of raised parking lots and made a terrible sound. But thankfully didn't break or bend.
Product arrived in good shape and is now installed. Installation took longer than expected but not due to the product. Other issues cropped up. In all it looks like this device will work for us and we are happy with it.
Great fit. Easily installed. Only issue is paint\powder coat coming off on some of the weld joints.
not this item but it bothers me when it shows that you have something in stock and then when i order it you do not and i am not told that you do not until a couple of days later which i have told me customer when it may be in but then i have to call and hope that they still want it a week later,
