Feel uncomfortable removing the heat shield. do you have a hitch that allows reinstalling of the heat shield

The Curt Trailer Hitch, part # C11362 is designed to fit a 2013 - 2016 Lexus ES 350, and 2013 - 2016 Lexus ES 300h Hybrid. If this is the vehicle you are asking about then the C11362 will work for you. It does require permanent removal of the heat shield.

If you have an ES 350 model, we do offer an alternative. You can use the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, part # 36530. This is a Class ll hitch and it has a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening. The installation of this hitch requires the temporary removal of the heat shield, but as the attached installation instructions show, the heat shield is re-installed after the hitch is installed.

So, if you have an ES 350 Lexus, I recommend the 36530.
