Fully welded vehicle trailer hitch is strong and durable. Draw-Tite's Tested Tough guarantee ensures that this hitch exceeds industry standards. The combination of an e-coat base and a powder coat finish provides excellent rust protection.
Draw-Tite's Tested Tough program provides testing standards far superior to those outlined by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the go-to source for engineering professionals.
Each Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver undergoes extensive fatigue testing and static testing with the ball mount that is either supplied or recommended for use with that particular hitch, thus ensuring results that are applicable to real life use. Fatigue testing is also conducted on hitches rated for use with weight-distribution systems.
In addition, Draw-Tite performs static testing on a simulated automobile, as opposed to the rigid fixture used for SAE testing, resulting in a more true-to-life scenario.

Today on our 2007 Chrysler Town and Country, well be installing Draw-Tite Hitch, part number 75305. Now before we begin our install, heres what your hitch will look like on the vehicle. At this point well go ahead and give you a few measurements to help assist you when selecting accessories such as a drawbar, a bike rack or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground measures 12 inches and from the center of the 5/8 inch hitch pinhole to the outermost part of the bumper measures 2 inches. Now lets go ahead with our install. Now to being our installing, well need to locate the three attachment points on either side of the frame.
Well be using for our rear two attachment points, the two bolts here on the leaf spring shackle. The other attachment is the bolt here just in front of the leaf spring shackle. Now well go ahead and remove our hardware. Well remove the two bolts from the leaf spring shackle making sure to leave the center bolt in place. We can then remove the forward attachment.
Well do this on both sides of the vehicle. Now well retain our hardware as they will be reused to install our new hitch. With all of our hardware out, were ready to put the hitch into position. Well begin by sliding the hitch over the passenger side leaf spring. Now the forward attachment point is the only thing that will be over the leaf spring.
After slide the passenger side front attachment point over the leaf spring, well slide it back towards the rear of the vehicle where we can take the driver side of the hitch and move it towards the front of the vehicle where well put the forward attachment point over the top of the leaf spring. With that done we can now move our hitch into position and line it up with the attachment point holes. With it lined up, well put the four bolts in here on our rear attachment point. Now on the forward attachment points included with the hitch were two spacer blocks. These blocks will go in between the forward attachment point here on the hitch and the frame of the vehicle.
With the block in we can now reinstall the bolt where well tighten everything down and torque it to specification as indicated in the instructions. With all of our hardware tight, our hitch is installed, which will complete our installation of Draw-Tite hitch, part number 75305 on our 2007 Chrysler Town and Country. .

Having purchased a camper intended to be towed by our Chrysler T&C van, my major concern was finding a trailer hitch to fit our van that I could obtain and install myself in the few days before our camping trip. e-Trailer provided the solution: easily searchable site, expert pre-sale advice, quick delivery, post-sale installation help, and the job is done with a day to spare. If it were not for some installation glitches, my review would be "excellent", but there is room for improvement in the installation instructions, particularly the plug-n-tow wiring. 1. For the hitch itself, my biggest problem for the first 10 minutes was trying to find a socket that fit the spring-hanger bolts. I finally read the instructions more closely and learned that I needed a 15mm and an 18mm socket, which fortunately I had. I found that it is necessary to both read the brief instructions AND watch the appropriate video. In my case, this required several trips back and forth between my barn and my office to review the video when the instructions were unclear. 2. No useful wiring instructions were included with my wiring package. After calling in, I was referred to instructions for an alternate product, but neither the video nor the documentation were accurate in all respects. And, most annoying, part #42235 didn't install per the instructions: there is, for example, no stand-alone ground wire to screw anyplace; there is insufficient wire length to allow storage of the plug in the jack compartment; and it will probably be necessary to buy a 4-pin extender to actually use the plug. But, all in all, I got the job done. Everything works, so thank you! 48865

Delivery was ahead of schedule, customer service was incredible (Patrick B. and John H.) these guys went above and beyond. The video was a great help. I installed the hitch with my 7 year old grandson in about 1 1/2 hours. I used portable floor ramps and a creeper which gave me just enough room. The holes lined up perfectly on my 2007 Grand Caravan. I highly recommend this product and company! 109526

This hitch fit onto my 2005 Dodge Gr Caravan perfectly. You will need ramps or some way to raise the rear of the vehicle. Etrailer sent me the correct product, with free shipping, very quickly. Thank you for your good service. 86583

Trailer Hitch fit the Caravan as advertised, looks really good. The installation instructions were clear and easy to follow. I can't wait to start towing my motorcycle trailer soon after I install the electrical wiring. 6922

The installation went off without a "hitch". It fit my 2006 Town & Country as advertised, and without any problems. I finished the job in about 45 minutes without help. 15753
Super Easy Install This fit like a glove on '05 Town and country. Super snug fit, but all the holes lined up perfectly. Not a single skinned knuckle. 1425
Town and Country hitch installed Here are some pics of my installation. Hard to take since the hitch is so hidden. Very satisfied with the product and the service. Installation went pretty well. Turned out that it was very important to get the hitch up as high as possible (and aligned on both sides with the bolt holes) before trying to get the bolts back in and to keep all bolts loose until they are all in. Took me a little longer than expected but then I wasn't working on a lift and I am in my early 60s. However, I am very satisfied. 4939

I was most impressed by the service and communication etrailer.com offered from the moment I ordered. I ordered a very expensive hitch and they had the best price out of everyone including Walmart. The stow and go makes my hitch one of the hardest to install and that was clear on all the instructions I saw here and on the other websites. But my mechanic got it on fine and it looks great! I got the 2" model and it doesn't stick out or look bulky in back at all. I was very happy and etrailer.com has my confidence to come back for all my trailer needs. 66265

i am sorry it took me so long to install your product. i am 74 years young, a service connected disable american veteran. we findly had a nice day, 70 degrees, for me to lay on the warm ground and install the tow system. your instructions for installation were very easy to understand and follow. the tow system was a little heavy for an old man, but this older man prevailed. the tow bar was a perfect fit. took me about 45 minutes to install. thank you for a tow system that is perfect for me. i hope i get the oppertunity to recommend your company. john 33366

Product fit very well. Installation was easy except for one non-serious issue. I am a backyard mechanic and don't have a lift available or any assistants to help me. When I jacked my van up to install, I jacked it up on the rear axle with one jack at each wheel. This was not a good idea because I couldn't get the hitch at enough of an angle to slip it into place. To remedy I just jacked the vehicle by the jacking points. Therefore the wheels and axles and springs just hung down and presto, it was easy to position the hitch for installation. 15279

Haven't hing yet but install was a snap! Very solid product there were some scratches/chipped paint on hitch that is why 4 stars. Installed on 07 Town & Country alone with out raising the van. With help it's easily a 15 min job. Installed the hitch and T-one in an hour. Instruction videos are good. Next to tackle tranny cooler. 14599

Dear etrailer.com, This is my third hitch from etrailer.com. The hitch went on in about 45 minutes using the factory bolts without any drilling. Thanks for making it easy to install and for making hitches that are an exact fit. The hitch fits nice and snug under the bumper for good ground clearance and ease of use. The light kit is awesome- love the quick connects that plug into the factory lighting. Thanks again for selling great products at good prices that allow me to get the job done right the first time around. 33245
The produtd arrived on time and everything was accounted for. I installed the hitch on my garage floor with the back of the car on some care ramps. The installation was easy with only 6 existing bolts to back out and then attach the hitch. The hitch fit great and installed with hand tools within 1 hour. This is the second trailer hitch I have gotten from etrailer and I had a great experience both times. My only complaint is that the paint was not as good on this hitch as the one I got a few years ago. 16269

Looks and works great! Bought the hitch to tow my trailer. Easy to install but it would have helped to have another hand. Only problem on install was that one hole did not line up but that is what they made a screwdriver for. Looks better than any of the photos show. Just a little hint if you are installing by yourself, do one back bolt on one side then go to the other side and do the front bolt then you can line it up better with the screw driver. Thanks etrailer for the quick shipping!!! 1092
EASY install. Did it by myself with a jack stand to help support it. It is a perfect fit, SO it didn't fit my 10 year old van perfectly. BUT it turned out that it didn't take a lot of leverage to move it almost a 1/4". I used a center punch as a pry bar. It was only 6" long so it didn't take a lot of force, so I was not worried that it would damage the threads. Fits nice and tight to the bumper and doesn't stick out where you could bang you shin on. 188366

From the start from the buying to putting the hitch on was one of the better experience I've had with ordering something online. When i call Ricky help get the right hitch and made sure its was the right one. Took exactly 5 business days to get it. Once I got it and started to install the hitch it took about 45 minutes to install. Didn't have a lift ( recommend ) had to lay on ground but all good. would buy from here again and recommend....... 270349

Very impressed with Etrailer service and the hitch. Hitch arrived within a couple of days of ordering. The hitch fit my vehicle perfectly and installation was a breeze. Total installation time was approx 45 minutes with a good 10 minutes or so dedicated to finding my torque wrench to complete the install. This is my second hitch purchased from etrailer and if I ever need another one I will definitely purchase from them. Great experience! 261408

Hitch took approximately 20 mins. to put into place and bolt up. The hitch was a perfect fit & the holes lined up perfectly. The directions were very clear and easy to understand. The whole job start to finish took about 2 hrs. mainly because the original bolts on the van were hard to get out. I don't have a nice garage so I was lying on my back in the driveway. I would rate this hitch a 10 out of 10 and recommend it to anyone. 133459

Hitch was of great quality. I love the videos to help with installation. Wiring harness was installed VERY easily by just plugging it in. The only issue I had was one bolt hole on the hitch was an 1/8 to 1/4 inch off and required a little creativity to get the bolt started. After the threads were started the impact drill did the rest. Service was amazing as always. I am a repeat customer and would gladly order again! Thanks 12703

6 bolts, 45 minutes of work. worked perfect. definitely need a second set of hands. not hard, just heavy. I used car ramps and a creeper, since i don't work in a garage and have a lift. make sure that you have an extension for the ratchet and socket. I couldn't have done it without the extension. would have been very hard if vehicle was at normal height. definitely helped to have it raised up on the ramps. 87104
Wiring harness was a challenge, no fault of the product, just the interior panels of the van proved to be difficult. Hitch and harness was at my door in 3 days. The hitch was a breeze, took longer to get the ramps and tools together than to put the hitch on. This is the 3rd time I purchased a hitch from etrailer. I tell all my friends to buy from here also. Keep up the good business etrailer !!!! 14691

I haven't pulled with the hitch yet, but installation was fairly simple. I did it myself with little struggle. The pictures in the instructions were helpful. A tip: if the holes do not line up perfectly, put the bigger bolt in on each side, then use a jack to lift where the receiver goes in. Cranking that up will spread the hitch to help match up the smaller bolt and holes. 86253
by: Bob R05/31/2014
Pretty well made. Doesn't stick out past bumper; yea! On line video is a little sketchy on some details-- the most important to me is that only the forward (one hole, gets larger bolt) mounting flange goes above the leaf spring. Be prepared to figure out some leverage to make some holes line up. Helper very important. Wiring harness had better video and instructions. 133524
by: dan m.02/18/2012
what can be easier then taking out 3 existing bolts per side on vehicle slide unit into position and reinstall same bolts. all holes lined up exactly. start to finish 15 minutes on car lift. twice as long if not longer if car is on ground. purchased this unit and wire harness for almost $200 cheaper then what car dealer wanted. plus they would of hit me for 2 hrs labor. 31978

This puppy is SOLID! So it is a bit overkill for use in towing my little 5x8 utility trailer, it looks better prepared to haul a tank or something. I just got finished mounting it myself and for the most part it fit quite well.....I should perhaps have reamed out two of the holes a bit to get better alignment....but it's on tight. I can't wait to use it. 38928

I received the hitch and taillight wiring in good time. (This review is for 2 items purchased at the same time.) The video(s) help a lot and made hitch installation in less than an hour. The taillight wiring kit was also very easy and took about 30 minutes. Very very glad that I made this purchase and will do it again for my next vehicle. Good products! 262896

In your video you show how you may need to pry the hitch over to line the holes up and insert the bolts. I had nearly 3/4" in order to line up the holes. I did get it but I was not happy. I thought I would need to grind the holes out to make it work. On the bright side, the hitch came promptly and in good condition. Looks great now that it's on. 16727
by: Daron L.05/15/2008
quality construction I got this hitch to hook a bike rack to on the back of my mini-van. The install wasn't 100% smooth as the holes weren't exactly perfectly aligned (I think if I had someone else helping me it would've gone smoother) so it was a little tricky but other than that I've very happy with this hitch. 871
Installing this product with the vehicle on the ground does not work. You will need the van in the air at least a little bit. It took a bit of work to get this installed, but it is installed and working great. make sure you put the bolts in the front holes first and then the back or it won't line up great. 118389

The order came in three days, which is great. Have not installed hitch yet waiting for my brother to help me. Installed wire harness, the video was very helpful. The video on the hitch looks just as helpful.I would order from you's again and recommend you to my friends. I'am very pleased and give you an A. 147914

Hitch arrived in perfect condition. I ordered wiring harness from etrailer also. Videos from etrailer made installation a breeze. Hitch looks great. My dad has ordered several hitches from etrailer. He (and I) was (were) very impressed with how well the hitch fit to the existing chassis. Great Product. 23838

Best online purchase I have made by far. Shipping spot on. Directions perfect and the videos helped tremendously. It only took 15-20 minutes to wire the harness and 25 minutes to install the hitch. Great people products. Highly recommend and will purchase from Etrailer again. Thank you very much 18033
by: Jeff B05/28/2014
The trailer hitch receiver was very easy to install. A pry bar and a small bottle jack are very helpful. I installed it by myself with the van on the ground in about a half an hour. I did have to pry it over a little to get the bolts to line up, but it wasn't difficult by any means. 133070

So far all I have done is install the hitch... well my brother did anyway. It took him about an hour and 45 minutes to get the hitch and wiring installed. The instructions explained the installation well, but you actually had to read them. Just skimming dod not work well in this case. 21813

Great service from etrailer. About 5 minutes after ordering online, I received an email stating the product was in stock and being sent out. I received the order in less than a week. Installed in about a hour. Looks great and everything lined about as promised. Thank you etrailer! 48080

Hitch worked great and service was awesome. The only trouble I had was that the hitch was merely wrapped in plastic for shipping and some of it got a little dinged and the paint chipped in a couple of spots. Nothing major but otherwise I would've chosen Excellent. 37925

Excellent service. Quick delivery, easy to use web site and ordering process. I did have a little trouble reinstalling two bolts but that was due to access issues and the fact I was laying on the concrete. Looks good installed and it is all that was advertised. 48532
Very easy to install. I don't know anything about cars and installed this. Really glad I didn't need to drill anything. Take 6 screws out and put the hitch in place with a friend and screw the 6 screws back in that easy. Watch the video its a no brainer. 24994

Hitch went on just like the video showed it would. Had to pry it over about 1/8 inch to get it on but was able to do it without jacking the van up. Video that is on the site was excellent help. Knew what I was getting into and had to do before installation. 182265
Great purchase! Easy install! Highly recommended! 248841

Strong / well made hitch -it went on pretty easily with the existing frame meber bolts---it is heavy and needed some uumph to get it in place(my wife helped). Was skeptical that it would just bolt into place--pleasantly surprised that all went well. 252477

Awesome Product! Simple to use. Easy to install (2 people needed). Looks Great!!! I installed this hitch in less than an hour. All holes lined up perfectly without a problem. You will need a second person to make the install go smoothly. 1569
by: David J.11/23/2012
Getting hitch into position is no problem. The fact that holes don't line up so prying [and cussing] is necessary is a problem. Maybe vehicle frame tolerances vary, I don't know. Did get it bolted in now and it should work fine. 59927

Excellent, fast delivery. Good instructions (both written and video). Installation was a bit challenging for one person but do able with some lifting aids (did it in 1 1/2 hours...not counting the head scratching time) 81613

Incredibly fast delivery! Hitch fit perfectly. Videos were a great help. Installation was painless. The only problem I had was that there were no existing bolts in the vehicle. I had to go out and buy new bolts. 21851
delivery was quick, price was great, installation was easy. haven't pulled anything yet, but assume will have no problems. this is the 2nd hitch i've purchased through etrailer. very satisfied, would do it again. 45847

Very pleased with this hitch. Went on in about 30-40 minutes. The hardest part was getting the wiring harness in place on our minivan. But installing the hitch itself was a breeze! Would highly recommend. 22391
