Today, we're going to take a look at the warning light bar from Peterson. And this amber warning light mounts to the roof of your vehicle. You can see it's going to have two different lights, one on the right side, one on the left. And it has the rotation 360 degrees on both of them, just to let everyone in the area know that you are currently working and to keep their distance. Some examples where you might want to use one of these would be landscaping, snowplowing, or even if you're the lead or the follow in a wide-load situation.Now it's going to have two halogen lights, which rotate 360 degrees. And it's also got the reflector in the middle so that, even when it's turned to the inside, it's still going to be shining towards the outside, making sure everyone around you knows that you're currently working.

Now, the halogen light bulbs are going to be clear. It's the amber color housing which gives off that amber light. Now how that mounts to our roof is going to be magnetic. So you'll see, when I flip it up right here, I'm going to have four magnets, one in each corner. They do have those protective rubber covers on them to help make sure that you're not going to scratch your roof at all.

It's going to protect that finish very well.Now we don't have it completely centered on top of our roof, and that's because we have the ridges on top of our truck right now. If you do find this a problem, it's not a big deal to have it just off center. You just want to make sure you get it kind of up, making sure that it's not tilted down facing your hood. So right here, we just have it sitting on top of both of our ridges, and you see that it's very stable. It's not going to go anywhere.

Now, an advantage to having those magnetic mounts is that the light is removable from your roof when not in use. Something I personally would like to have is to be able to take it off when I'm not working.Now, it's going to use the 12-volt accessory outlet in your vehicle to draw its power. You see we have a 15-foot cord. So, no matter where you want to mount it on your roof, you're going to be able to reach that power source. Ours, for example, is just right here at the center console, right by the radio.

When you get it mounted, we have the wire coming through our passenger side because that's just going to make sure it's not in the way of our steering wheel, doesn't fall down to our gas or brake pedals. Just a lot safer that way. We'll go ahead and plug it in. Good Mm-hmm (affirmative). Now we're going to have a switch on the backside. Once we flip it, that green light's going to come on, letting us know that our light bar is currently operating. Once we flip that switch off, that green light goes off, letting us know that the bar is not currently on.Now, a couple of things that I really like about this light bar is that it's got that more high-profile look to it, those 360 degree rotating lights. And the other thing is that it has that magnetic mount. So, I can take it off of my vehicle when I'm not using it.Thank you all for watching.
