This Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver gives you solid hauling capability and accessory support. With a 2" x 2" receiver opening and Class III rating, it can handle up to 4,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 400 lbs tongue weight. When used with weight distribution, those limits rise to 5,000 lbs GTW and 500 lbs TW. That means it’s ready for the everyday stuff—mounting a bike rack, hauling a small trailer, or adding a cargo carrier for road trips.
The hitch is made from sturdy, fully welded steel that’s both strong and dependable. A gloss black powder coat finish is layered over a protective base coat for superior rust resistance, so it stands up to years of weather exposure and road grime. The round-tube design keeps it looking clean under the bumper while adding strength where it counts.
No need for welding or frame drilling—the hitch bolts directly onto the frame using the included hardware kit. All mounting parts are provided, along with installation instructions, making it easy to install in a driveway or garage with standard tools. Trimming of the heat shield may be needed, but no fascia cutting is required. It’s a setup that fits precisely and goes on without surprises.
Because it uses a 2" receiver tube, this hitch works with most ball mounts, bike racks, and cargo carriers on the market. Ball mount, pin, and clip are sold separately, so you can choose exactly what fits your towing or accessory needs best.
