Question:

Curt 13383. I am selling my Crosstrek and want to keep the hitch. Do you sell replacement bolts, fish wires etc as I will never be able to get the bolts out of the frame.

Hey Doug, the part number # RHK that you referenced is the replacement hardware kit part number you would need to replace the hardware of your Curt # C13383. On the product page for the RHK you would enter the part number of your Curt hitch and we will ship you out the correct replacement hardware. Do you use the hitch for towing or a bike rack?

Thanks Jameson- curt told me 13882 will not fit a 2026 Crosstrek. If I buy a new one I’ll be getting a new hitch from you. Thanks for the responses. Doug

Hi Doug. I’ve uninstalled an Etrailer hitch from one vehicle I’ve owned to put on another. I ordered the replacement install kit for that hitch and it came with the necessary bolts and fish guide wires. Obtaining he fish guide wires was essential to be able to reinstall. It helped me to install easier. I used a magnet to help guide the bolts to the opening so I could retrieve the old bolts. Hope this info helps when making a decision on your options.
