This Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver gives you the muscle to handle light to moderate towing and everyday hauling. With a 4,000-lb maximum gross trailer weight rating and 400-lb tongue weight limit, it’s built for small campers, boats, or utility trailers. The 2" x 2" receiver opening works with most ball mounts, bike racks, and cargo carriers, so you can easily hook up gear for the next trip or project.
The square-tube design and precision, robotic welds make this hitch solid and dependable even after years of use. A gloss black powder coat finish over a protective base coat resists rust and corrosion from road grime and weather. Im very pleased with the hitch. I haul a small utility trailer occasionally and havent had any problem at all. Finish is holding up well and no signs of corrosion at all. Great product from a great supplier. Thanks Etrailer.

Very pleased with the ease of install. I recently removed the hitch to address some surface rust on my frame and re-install was just as easy. Only issue I have is that my exhaust tailpipe rattles against the hitch so I will need make some adjustments to my exhaust

Install on a 97 Jeep wrangler a year ago in Iowa winters and no rust. Use it more of a anchor when I get stuck. Tough as nail no bends or wear.

Following-up after a year, this Curt trailer hitch on the old Wrangler still looks like new and continues to perform! The powder coating has held up perfectly as well, which is important to note. Altogether, Im still 100 satisfied!
