Features to know about

Quick and Secure Connections: 360-Degree Swivel Head

Tired of fiddling with awkward hitch locks? This stainless steel swivel head rotates a full 360 degrees, making it a breeze to install and remove. You'll spend less time securing your cargo and more time on the road, with the confidence that your ball mount or bike rack is locked tight and not going anywhere.

Durability Meets Convenience: Dual Pin Options

Why settle for a single pin size when you can have two? This set includes both 1/2-inch and 5/8-inch pins, so you can switch between different hitch receivers without any hassle. The solid stainless steel construction ensures that both pins are built to last, providing a reliable fit on both 1-1/4" and 2" hitch receivers.

Worried about rust and grime messing with your lock? Fear no more! The lock features a weather-resistant, snap-on cover that keeps dirt and moisture far away from the keyway. Its corrosion-resistant stainless steel body is up for any weather, ensuring longevity and reliability during all your adventures.

Feel the Lock: Push-to-Lock Mechanism

Ever wonder if your lock is really secure? With the push-to-lock mechanism, you'll hear and feel a satisfying "click" when the lock is engaged. There's no second-guessing here—this straightforward feature ensures that your accessories are safely secured, offering peace of mind every time you step away.

Tailored and Secure Fit: Key-Retaining Design

Say goodbye to losing keys or experiencing “false locks.” The key-retaining design means the key won't come out until your lock is properly secured, eliminating any doubt about whether your hitch is truly locked. Perfect for multi-taskers and those who might be easily distracted, this feature ensures a fail-safe lock every time.

  • How to Install ToyLok Mounted Retractable Cable Lock to 4x4 Bumper on 2020 Alpha Wolf
The U-Bolt mounting kit that comes with the ToyLok ATV/UTV Mounted Retractable Cable Lock # LC337120-337114 can be found separately as part # LC337114. To mount this to your bumper you'll have to get a bit creative because the U-Bolts are designed to fit 3/4" - 1" ATV-UTV racks so there is no way that they will wrap around your 4" square bumper if that's what you had in mind. Another solution would be to install a hitch receiver on your 4" square bumper, like the Curt # E-100, and then...

  • One Hitch Lock for 1-1/4 Inch and 2 Inch Trailer Hitches
We do not have a locking pin with a sleeve but I do have an awesome recommendation for you. Since you would have to keep track of the sleeve any way you could use Master Lock lock set # 2866DAT. It has a 1/2 inch pin and a 5/8 inch pin that use the same lock. Instead of storing a sleeve somewhere you would be storing the pin that isn't being used.

The Ford Logo Trailer Hitch Receiver Cover # PC002236 that you were looking at is all metal and you can use the Swivel Head Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 1-1/4" and 2" Trailer Hitches # 2866DAT to secure it to your hitch receiver. If you'd like something that doesn't require assembly then we have the Stainless Steel Cover # AUT-FOR-C.

  • Can The Master Lock 2866DAT Work With A Hollywood Racks Sport Rider HR1000Z Bike Rack?
As the hitch pin on your Hollywood Racks Sport Rider # HR1000Z bike rack is threaded, the Master Lock # 2866DAT locks will not fit without having to drill the threads out of the shank. The threads are there so that when you tighten the pin into the shank, it will secure the rack more tightly and keep it from wobbling in the hitch. Drilling them out will cause you to lose this feature. I can also say that Master Lock parts will only work with Master Lock parts, so there is a very very high...

  • Compatibility of Curt Trailer Hitch # C11064 With Curt Cargo Carrier # C18110
The Curt Class I Trailer Hitch # C11064 is indeed a correct fit for your 2009 Honda Fit. This hitch will install without drilling using the included hardware but some trimming of part of the wheel well is needed for a secure fit. The Curt Cargo Carrier # C18110 that you referenced is fully compatible with this Class I hitch. Before loading up your cargo I suggest you check your Fit owner's manual to confirm the vehicle's tongue weight capacity (the weight loaded on its frame where the...

  • Hitch Sizes Compatible with North Carolina Tar Heels "NC Logo Trailer Hitch Receiver Cover CTH9S
You are correct that the Siskiyou North Carolina Tar Heels "NC" Logo Trailer Hitch Receiver Cover # CTH9S does fit most 1-1/4-inch Class II and 2-inch Class III hitches. I both checked with the manufacturer and took a look at our inventory and two sets of brackets are indeed included, as shown in the photo. If you want a lock to protect this cover from theft I suggest hitch lock # 2866DAT which will fit both hitch sizes.

  • Recommended Hitch Mounted Platform Carrier For 2013 Kia Sorento SX
The lightest carrier we offer that has the biggest shank rise and will fit hitches that are either 1-1/4 or 2 inches is the Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier, part # C18110. This carrier has a 3-3/4 inch shank rise. Since this will fit both Class ll and Class lll hitches, this may work well for your 2013 Kia Sorento. This carrier weighs only 30 lbs and has a weight capacity of 300 lbs. If you want to secure the carrier to the vehicle hitch, I recommend a Hitch Receiver Lock, part # 2866DAT. This...

  • Can Trailer Coupler Lock Pins be Replaced?
Hey William, thanks for reaching out! Usually there isn't a way to get just the replacement pin, but if you have a kit like the Master Lock # 3794DAT, we have some of it pieced out and you could get just the locking pins as part # 2866DAT or part # 2848DAT. This would come with an additional lock, but you would be able to simply swap it out to the one you currently have so everything is still keyed alike. If you let me know what specific lock kit you have, I'd be happy to see if we have...

  • Trailer Wiring Recommendation for a 2008 Infiniti EX35
Thank you for your purchase of the Class I 1-1/4" Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11510 for your 2008 Infiniti EX35! When it comes to the wiring you'll have to use a splice-in option and for that I recommend the Curt # C59236. This kit has the black module box that helps protect your OEM wiring and a power lead so your trailer lights will be powered straight from your vehicle battery. To install this you will use the tester to see what wires carry the functions you need to connect to but...

  • Where to Measure to Determine if Span of Hitch Lock 2866DAT Is Long Enough
The usable span of the # 2866DAT that you referenced is 2-3/4 inches. You would need to measure the width of your hitch to know if that would be enough. Most likely it would be pretty close.

  • Hitch Cargo Carrier, Cargo Net & Hitch Lock for 2014 Fiat 500L
The hitches made for your 2014 Fiat 500L are the light-duty Class I type and in one of these you will need to use a Class I-compatible hitch-mount cargo carrier. One thing to keep in mind is that the combined weight of your chosen carrier and what you load onto it cannot exceed the hitch tongue weight (TW) rating of 200-lbs. This means that a good choice will be one of the lighter carriers that will not use up too much of the hitch capacity. The Curt hitch carrier # C18110 weighs in at...

  • Cargo Carrier And Hitch For 2011 Chrysler 300 To Carry Folding Wheelchair
If you do not have a hitch on your 2011 Chrysler 300, I recommend a hitch and a cargo carrier. After doing some research on your vehicle I found that the towing weight capacity is 1,000 lbs. that means the maximum tongue weight capacity or total weight a hitch could handle is approximately 100 lbs. I recommend the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, part # 36548. This is a Class ll hitch and has a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening. I also recommend a flat hitch-mounted cargo carrier like the Rola Packer...

  • Do Hitch Pins and Hitch Lock Have Trailer Weight Ratings
Standard hitch pins like # PC3 and hitch locks like # 2866DAT do not have specific trailer weight capacities because all of them are capable of towing more weight than any trailer hitch they will fit. You do not need to have any concerns with the weight capacity of a hitch pin or lock.

All of the locks you have mentioned # 2866DAT, and # 7682 will all fit it. They will also fit the Surcp Cargo Carrier that you referenced.
