Does it fit factory Ford Explorer hitch? I have a 2002 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer, 1 1/4 in factory installed hitch.

The span of lock # 2866DAT is 2-3/4 inches. Measure your receiver from outside pin hole to outside pin hole to make sure the span is long enough, which it should be, on your 2002 Ford Explorer.
