Question:
Hello guys, I recently bought a trailer hitch from you guys and I cant wait to start towing my camping equipment I have a 2008 Infiniti ex35 and I have some questions about the trailer wiring harness. Not as it comes from factory it does not have any tow package nor wires pre-wired for a harness for a trailer. Do you have a plug and play kit so I can connect my trailer? Or will I have to buy a universal kit and have someone install it for me? Can you please help me and guide me in the right direction on which one to buy or if there is one on the market. Thank you very much for your time and thank you for sending the trailer hitch have a great day.

Thank you for your purchase of the Class I 1-1/4" Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11510 for your 2008 Infiniti EX35!
When it comes to the wiring you'll have to use a splice-in option and for that I recommend the Curt # C59236. This kit has the black module box that helps protect your OEM wiring and a power lead so your trailer lights will be powered straight from your vehicle battery. To install this you will use the tester to see what wires carry the functions you need to connect to but if it's something you're uncomfortable doing then any local shop that you trust should be able to handle the installation just fine.
To complete your towing setup you also need a ball mount setup like the Brophy Ball Mount # BM96, 1-7/8" Hitch Ball # C40001, and a locking hitch pin like the Master Lock # 2866DAT.
Attached are some videos for you to check out.
