This adjustable ball mount has a maximum capacity of 22,000 lbs, making it ideal for heavy-duty towing. The solid steel construction is strong enough to handle large trailers and heavy cargo, and the matte powder coat finish will protect the ball mount from rust and corrosion, even after repeated use. The adjustable channel is made of 5/16" thick, laser-cut steel plates. These steel plates can handle high capacities without bending. And because of the laser cutting, the channel plates have consistently sized pin holes, so you can easily remove or reposition the hitch ball platform.
A 1/2" thick steel gusset is welded between the shank and the channel, bracing the mount and keeping the channel from bending, even at the maximum drop or rise.
The solid steel shank is CNC -chamfered, making it easy to slide the shank into and out of your hitch receiver. And with no sharp edges on the shank, the powder coating is less likely to chip and peel.
Each adjustable mount includes a 2-ball platform, which fits in the adjustable channel. The 2 hitch balls are welded onto the solid steel platform for maximum strength and stability.
Finally, the pins and clips included with the ball mount are made of heat-treated steel to withstand the heavy weight from your load. The nickel undercoat with zinc topcoat provides corrosion resistance and ensures the strength of the pin.
To set up this BulletProof Hitches adjustable ball mount, insert the 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" shank into your hitch's receiver. Slide the 2-ball platform into the adjustable channel, then use the included pins and clips to secure the platform at the height you need. If you need to switch hitch balls, just remove the pins and clips, flip the ball platform over, and reinsert the pins and clips to secure the balls in place. It's that easy.
This BulletProof Hitches adjustable ball mount is compatible with a wide variety of accessories (sold separately). Instead of using the included ball to tow, you can install a weight distribution shank (358WEIGHTDIST) in the channel of the mount to attach your weight distribution system. Add a clevis (358CLEVIS) or shackle attachment (358EDSA) for off-road or recovery operations. Or simply add a hitch step (358STEP) to easily access your truck bed.

Hello neighbors, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Bulletproof hitch two ball ball mount rated at 22,000 pounds. So folks, this amazing two ball ball mount will let you hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle and the shank here is gonna slide and fit into a 2 1/2 by 2 1/2 inch hitch receiver tube. Now the hitch ball, you're gonna have a 2 5/16 option or a 2 inch option and that's gonna provide a nice connection point for the trailer coupler. Now it is adjustable height so you can pull these two pins out and you can move it up or down a couple of holes depending on the riser drop that you need. The ball platform, like I said, slides up or down and goes in place with those two pins.
Those retainer clips are on there. You have a total of three mounted positions, two pins per mounting position. The whole thing is made of a heavy duty steel construction and it's got a nice matte black powder coat finish that's gonna resist corrosion. You can switch balls easy by removing the pins and flipping the ball head over. It does have a nice 5/16 inch thick channel frame that's super strong and durable up here on the front channel and it has a nice half inch thick welded gusset plate to help make it strong as well here on the backside.
That's the gusset. The hitch balls are welded on for superior strength and durability as well. Everything's been heat treated steel, it's gonna withstand heavy weights. It has a nickel undercoat with the zinc top coat to also help resist corrosion and ensure strength. If you need a hitch pin or a locking hitch pin, that's all sold separately and the whole part here is SAEJ 684 certified.
You're also gonna get this tube of Bulletproof anti-friction grease. A lot of people don't do this, but you really are supposed to put a little grease on the ball. That way it can spin free in the coupler and make it just a lot easier on turns. You get a lot less noise and squeaks and that kind of stuff as well, and it helps prevent corrosion and keeps your coupler working really good as well. Now I'll throw an image up here real quick of some dimensions.
From the top of the center of the ball over to the farthest rear pin, it's 13 1/4 inches. From that same center of the ball to the closest pinhole is actually 11 3/4 quarter inches. That's not on the picture there, but I measured it. Then you got the 10 5/8 from the front of the channel to the back center of the pin hole, 9 3/4 overall in the height and 6 inches from the gusset back to the back center of the pin hole. Folks, the total length of this hole platform when it's installed is 18 1/4 inches long. Total weight of this guy is about 45 pounds and the pinhole diameters are 5/8 inch as well as these holes over here on the adjustment. Folks, it has a nice limited lifetime warranty. I received hitch from UPS and whent to install hitch onto truck, I had noticed that the package was missing a pin for the ball assembly. I didn't call for replacement,I think I'll be buying hitch pins locks.
I need a solution for my BMW SUV to tow my boat and trailer with two ball sizes and very different height requirements. This worked perfectly. The name Bulletproof fits well - I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and engineering.
So far I am extremely happy with this hitch. It is very heavy duty. My towing capacity has changed and needed to upgrade to a heavy duty hitch. I have no doubts this is going to be Bulletproof!! It is very well built and a solid shank.
