Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at these InfiniteRule 2.5" Hitch Locks for your B&W Tow & Stow and Tow & Stow Pintle. Now these heavy duty stainless steel flush style hitch locks are going to provide superior security when locking a ball mount or an accessory to your B&W Tow and Stow and Tow & Stow Pintle Hitch to your two and 1/2 inch trailer hitch receiver. Now if you take a closer look here at these locks, you'll notice that the grooved head, a pinhead is going to be very easy to grab. And these also all have a weather-resistant tethered dust cap that's gonna keep water and debris out of the keyways.
And you are going to get keys here, everything's going to be keyed alike. And I'm gonna insert one of the keys here into this lock. This is going to be the receiver lock. And I'm just gonna go ahead and turn this, unscrew it counterclockwise like I'm unscrewing a bolt. And as you can see, that's going to unlock this.
We do have an internal O-ring here that's going to protect those internal components from dirt and grime. And then when you're ready to lock this up, you'll just connect the two ends and then you'll just turn the key clockwise like you're tightening a bolt. And then when you get tight, you're just going to line up the keys to the nearest set of hash marks that are around the edges there, and that's going to allow you to pull the key out. Then you'll just cap that off, as you can see, these are gonna be nice and secure, so very easy operation. And you are going to get exactly what you see here.
You're going to get one, two, three hitch locks, one pintle lock, and then this receiver lock. So again, this is gonna work for your two and 1/2 inch trailer hitch receiver. The shear strength on the hitch locks is gonna be 32,000 pounds, on the pintle lock, 21,000 pounds. And on the receiver lock, the same, 21,000 pounds. The pin diameter on the hitch locks, 7/8ths of an inch.
And then on the pintle lock, 5/8th of an inch. And then on the receiver lock, 5/8th of an inch as well. Lemme retrieve my ruler here and give you some measurements. So looking at the receiver lock first, the overall length from end to end, we're sitting pretty close to right at five, right about five and 1/8th inches. But the measurement you're probably most concerned about is going to be the span or the inside pin length. And as I hope you can see there, we're sitting right at three and 1/8th inches inside. And then looking at our pentle lock, the overall length looks like we're sitting a little under seven inches, maybe six and 3/4 inches. And then that span, or inside to inside the pin length there, looks like we're sitting right at four and 1/8th inches. And then taking a look at our hitch lock, overall length right at about six and let's say 5/8th inches it looks like. And then they have pin length inside to inside, right at four inches. So heavy duty stainless steel. These are designed to withstand the elements that they're gonna be constantly exposed to. They're gonna be very strong, very durable, very robust, and a great way to protect your investment from B&W.
