Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a look at this Trimax Hidden Shackle Padlock Hasp for trailers. With this solid steel hidden shackle hasp, you can add or replace your trailer hasp to deter theft and defeat attempts to pry and cut. This two piece hasp installs with three quarter inch carriage bolts. Those bolts are not included. So you would have to pick those up as a separate purchase if you don't already have them.

And as you can see, it's going to take three of those quarter inch carriage bolts on each side to successfully install this. So this is gonna be perfect for enclosed trailers, fans, trucks, sheds, gates and even vending machines. This features an epoxy coat that is corrosion resistant. And as we mentioned, this is solid steel. Now I wanna give you just a brief demonstration of how this is going to work.

Obviously this is not mounted, so it's loose but I do happen to have a Trimax hidden padlock. And so I'm gonna go ahead and unlock this. And these hidden padlocks from Trimax are designed to work with these Hasps. So I'm gonna line this up as best as I can, push in the lock, turn the key, as you can see, that's what it's going to look like when this is mounted and you have this lock installed. This is the steel version, and I am including our item number to this padlock on your screen. But we also have aluminum versions of this lock as well from Trimax. So we do have quite a few, quite a various selection of these hidden pad locks. So let me go ahead and just unlock this and remove it.

So it's a very simple operation. Now, something else that I want to do is just give you some measurements to help you determine if this is going to work for you and the measurements are going to be the same on each piece. So I thought it'd be helpful first of all to measure the longest portion of this. And I believe I have it right here. So let me line up my ruler here. And we are sitting right at looks like right about 4 3/4 inches, 4 3/4 inches long at the longest point, then at the shortest point, we are sitting right at looks like about a little over three inches, 3 1/8 inches at the shortest point. And then the overall height we are sitting right at 4 1/2 inches. So again, those measurements will be the same on the second piece as well. And this does have a limited lifetime warranty.
