Question:
I am looking for a puck style lock. However I dont think it will fit my rear trailer door hasps. My hasps are 3/4 apart and look just like this: 158-101 If you click the 4th Product Image youll see that the dimensions of the hasp you are selling is similar. So how does a puck luck with 3/8 opening fit?

Hey Jim!
Cam-Action latches like the Polar # 158-101 you referenced are designed to be used with a standard padlock like the Trimax # TMX82SR. The puck lock you're looking at has a 3/4" max height opening in the back so it's going to be cutting it really close and I don't think it will really work for you.
If you're really wanting to use a puck lock like Trimax # TMX96RR then you'll need the Trimax Latch Kit # TMX28ZR instead.
Have you been using the puck style already, or do you just like the design and wanted to try to get it to work?

Hey Jim, Did you decide to try out the Trimax Latch Kit for your puck lock, or did you stick with a standard padlock for your trailer door? I'm curious to hear how it worked out for you, as it could help others looking to secure their trailers.
