Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this TRIMAX universal keyed-alike towing kit. Now this kit is going to include locks for your trailer coupler, latch and trailer hitch receiver. Everything's going to be keyed-alike for your convenience and security. And basically this is considered to be a universal fit kit. It's gonna be designed for your 2-inch and your 2 1/2-inch trailer hitch receiver, along with a wide range of coupler sizes for a flexible towing setup.

Now, giving you a closer look here, let's go through each of these pieces here. I want to begin with the universal unattended coupler lock here first. And this is going to work with your 1 7/8-inch, 2-inch, and 2 5/16-inch ball coupler. So you're gonna get six keys here. One key is going to run all of these locks here, and then you'll have backups.

So we have two keys here, two locks. So it's gonna be very easy to unlock and lock. So I've got a coupler here. Let me just go ahead and attach it, put the trigger latch down like so. So got that on.

And then, I'm just going to put the shackle on like that, make sure I can get it as tight as possible. So as you can see, we're gonna be nice and secure. And this is a 2-inch coupler, 2-inch ball coupler rather, set key in, give it a turn, that's gonna unlock the shackle here. And then, remove my, actually I'm gonna leave my coupler out there. So very easy to work with.

Solid steel construction. It's got a finish on there that's gonna help resist corrosion, rust, everything like that. And then, you got a little cap here as well that's going to protect that keyhole. It's a little rubber cap as you can see there. So let's move on to our coupler latch here. I'm gonna move this to the side here. This is going to work with spans from 7/8- Let's try that again, of 7/8 of an inch, 2 1/2 inches, and 3 1/2 inches. So again, just going to unlock it. Same lock, same key, give that a turn, and then I'm gonna bring my coupler back here, run that through, get it. And you, of course, as you know, you want to get it as tight as possible. Turn the key to the nearest notch there. So as you see, all of this is gonna be very easy to use. Go ahead and unlock it just like that. So, adjustable and stainless steel construction, it's gonna hold up really well against the elements that it's gonna be constantly exposed to. Everything works very smoothly so you're not gonna be struggling at the back of your vehicle to unlock or lock these units, these locks. Next, we have our universal receiver lock and it's got that stainless steel sleeve. So the 1/2-inch pin is going to easily convert to 5/8 of an inch pin. And this has a rubber cap on it. TRIMAX has these rubber caps that have a very good steel around the keyway there, so you're not gonna have to worry about water, dirt, or debris getting in there. So as you can see, you've got that sleeve there. That's gonna be very easy just to lock that back up. And then finally, we've got our receiver lock pin here. And then, this is going to be interchangeable with the locking head here. So if you're not gonna use this one, you can just take that head and put it on there and lock this one in place. This is gonna be 5/8 of an inch by 3 1/2-inch span pin. So 5/8 of an inch in diameter and 3 1/2-inch long with the span. So really, a great set. Looks great as well with the finish, six keys, one key to run the whole show. And then as you probably saw, we have a really nice convenient carrying case. It's going to keep everything together, kinda like a nylon material. And so you're gonna be able to easily and conveniently keep all of your locks and keys in one spot. Zip it up, it's got two zipper pulls. So it's just gonna keep them clean, keep everything together, and you're not gonna have to go routing around in the back of your truck or the cargo area of your vehicle finding what you need. It's all gonna be in one spot.
