When you’re not towing, there’s no reason for brackets or bars to stick out. This base plate kit uses a hidden bracket design where the drawbars remove easily with two hitch pins. Once the arms are off, the remaining brackets sit tucked inside the grille area—protected from scuffs and barely noticeable. It keeps your front end clean and free from bulky hardware until you’re ready to roll again.
Every tow setup depends on solid attachment points. The all-steel construction on this kit is computer-cut for precision and welded for strength, so it handles the heavy pull of long-distance flat towing without flexing. A black powder coat finish helps fight off corrosion, keeping the hardware looking sharp and working smoothly through years of use.
If you prefer to handle projects yourself, this design makes installation straightforward. The kit bolts directly to the vehicle’s frame—no welding required—and comes with all mounting hardware and instructions included. The precision fit helps everything line up so you can focus on bolting it down instead of fabricating parts.
You don’t need to replace your existing gear to make this work. It’s compatible with Roadmaster tow bars when used with the quick-disconnect crossbar (910021-00, sold separately). The removable square drawbars pin in place quickly for hook-up and come off just as easily when you unhook at camp, making set-up and teardown fast and predictable every trip.

Works great, no problems. I leave the cross bar on to protect the front of my car. No one will hit it and mess up my paint.
